Javier stayed motionless without shifting an inch. Seeing him in such a condition, Charles felt pity for his younger brother, yet at the sa ti happiness gleaned in his heart at the thought that he is also a father now.
Whereas, Sierra understood his feelings too well. She passed Charles, who was sowhat not understanding an assured gaze to which Charles finally cald from the brewing storm. Despite hearing the cry, it wasn’t determined if Jennifer along with the children were fine or not.
After a few minutes of waiting, the operation room’s door flew open and two nurses stepped out to et the family of the patients, “Congratulations to everyone, there are two girls born!”
“Jennifer? Is she fine?” Sierra asked while moving forward and the nurse nodded her head. “Mother is fine too. She is currently exhausted and needs a lot of sleep and rest. We will be shifting her to the private ward very soon, till then please..” The nurse extended her hand and looked at the contenders to see who did be picking up the children first.
“Umm...I think Javier..” Sierra turned her face and saw Javier. He didn’t show his face which he cupped in his hand but she knew relief washed over him. Patting his back, she caressed it softly and told, “You should pick your daughters, Javier. You should be the first one.”
Hearing this, the new father finally picked up the pace. He stood on his legs not tearing his eyes two buns placed in each nurse’s hands. They were wrapped with a white cloth and appeared extrely tiny
‘I’m a father..’ Javier prepared himself to take steps. The nurse extended her hand to place one child in Javier’s arms fully where he gazed at the small human being, who was made from his blood...she has his life in her... The thought was beautiful holding all the happiness in them.
In the sa action, the next nurse helped him to take the other child in Javier’s other arm and adjusted the cloth of both the girls. “Th-they is..so...”

“Small?” Charles completed his words and Javier slightly gave a shake to the sa. “They are like this but they are yours and Jennifer’s children, Javier,” Charles recalled and the thought brought a giant grin to his lips. He couldn’t express the joy...he is a father...he has a child with his university crush and he could do nothing but feel content with everything the world is giving to him.
“What would you like to na the children, Sir?” The nurse asked and this ti, Javier lifted his eyes to look at the nurse on request, “C-can you please wait till my wife is awake? We would like to discuss..”
The nurse showed no issues with this and Javier finally got ti with the two little bundles of happiness. ‘You will be proud of what you have made for them, Jennifer...’ Javier couldn’t help but smile. His heartbeat finally slowed to its real shape and he was in the shape of coming back to reality now.
Ti passed and soon, Jennifer was transferred into a private ward. The family sat inside with the two bundles still resting in Javier’s arms. He wasn’t willing to share them with anyone except Jennifer until she was out of her slumber.
As Charles and Sierra noticed his actions, a soft chuckle escaped from their lips, “I believe now I know why you didn’t insist on finding out the genders before. The feeling of knowing it at birth brings more happiness.” Javier didn’t say anything but only saw the faces of his lifelines.
He has three girls in his life from now onwards.
It was night and finally, Jennifer was awake from the anesthesia given to her. Its effect slowed down and she was finally blinking her eyes. At first sight, she saw Javier’s face which was still gleaming with happiness despite his worry.
“Are you fine my love?” Jennifer couldn’t say but blinked her eyes twice. She was fine except for the pain of stitches around her abdon due to the operation. As she tried to speak through her lips, Javier read her mind before, “Two girls, we have made two beautiful girls, my love.”
“W-wh..”
“shhh....they are here, with you..” Javier lifted the girls and placed them beside Jennifer. She gazed at the two little humans near her arms and smiled leisurely. She saw their faces of them which were still red but the white cloth covered them. Small hair grew upon their heads but their fluffy cheeks were still making them appear adorable.
Jennifer looked above her eyes to find Javier happily smiling. She knew what he wanted and she finally nodded her head to what he ant behind her words effortlessly.
“Nurse...” he gained the attention of the nurse. She was scanning all the instrunts and jotting down all the asurents of Jennifer. She was still conscious despite not being allowed to speak. Her throat was dry and the effect of pain was showing up.
The nurse raised her head and Javier blurred his words, “We have decided the nas for our children.”
“We would like to na them, Ariana and Lisa.”
….
At the sa mont, a notification lighted on soone’s phone. He looked at the ssage with clear eyes and a wicked smile appeared on his face.
‘Two daughters it is. Safe as far as heard.’
The words contained the hidden ssage and the man only laughed after reading this. His waves of laughter echoed in the darkness of the room where he sat alone on his chair and took a sip of the wine presented in front of him.
The room was dark with no source of light except the moonlight falling from outside. Under this, a notification was illuminated brightly from the phone. However, no one could describe the expressions of the man who read the ssage and felt a lone happiness grooming upon thinking about his next step.
“Javier Johnson....you snatched everything from . Let us see how will you react after the sa happens to you now...”
