551 He is safe
Jennifer slowly opened her eyes and rubbed them.
A yawn escaped from her mouth when she felt so sunlight coming from the windows. Slowly and slowly, she fully recovered from her slumber to find herself covered with blankets.
Then, she rolled to the other side of the bed in the hope of hugging a solid person. However, to her dismay, the other end was completely empty.
‘Where is he?’ she couldn’t help but frown. Jennifer got up from her bed to look around the room and found no one else.
“It’s morning, where has he gone?” She knows that Javier goes for a morning walk but then he cos back and takes a nap again. It is usually at the ti she wakes up and Javier is always beside her.
So, why is he not here today?
Jennifer descended the bed to wear her sleepers and opened the door of the room and walked into the living room. An aroma filled her nostrils and she made her way to the kitchen and found a man’s back facing her.
“Am I going to be treated to a breakfast made by my husband today?” Jenifer sweetly asked as she raised her eyebrows to et Javier’s pitch black eyes.
“Not only you but also the two little munchkins inside your womb.” Javier casually replied with a bright grin and Jennifer chuckled at this, “Then we are eagerly waiting for your preparation, Mr. Javier Johnson.”

Javier turned the stove off and walked to her. Pinching her cheeks, he pressed her into his embrace and planted a soft kiss above her hair, “Jennifer..”
“Hmm?”
Jennifer could feel sothing was wrong with him. His sudden hug expressed not only his requirent for a hug but sothing more....Yet she failed when it ca to solve the mystery.

“I love you.”
“I love you more, my love.” Jennifer smiled as she grabbed his body closer to her. Javier showed no resistance in receiving warmth from her. It lightened up his mood.
“Go and get freshened until I prepare your breakfast.” Javier finally broke the silence and Jennifer nodded.
She was ready to leave and rush back to her washroom, but then her eyes caught the switched on news channel on the LED.
“Breaking news, the largest building in the empire got suddenly demolished in one night. It is said to belong to one of the criminal heads who ran his organization in these abandoned buildings. The cops have already given the statent that it was an encounter and sudden bomb blast by the criminals brought the building down.”
Hearing the reporter’s words, Jennifer’s brows twisted. She turned around to face Javier, and gained no reaction from him, “Do you know which organization they are talking about?”
“Well, there exist so many organizations, I can’t na them all for guesses. Must be so ordinary one for cops to catch them so easily.” Javier’s loose tone didn’t make Jenifer suspect a single thing.
She once again turned her face to gaze at the news, finding it a bit complicated but hearing Javier’s casual words made her relieved.
“It’s good that you aren’t involved. otherwise, underworld cris....” Jennfier need not to finish but she quickly ran away back to the bathroom, leaving Javier in daze.
He saw her back vanishing and sighed in his heart. ‘You can never know about this, my love. This was for my mother...’

At the sa ti, Sierra was clutching the remote in her hand. Her eyes were staring at the reporters to hear the sudden bomb blast in the building and how it got demolished within a few seconds.
On witnessing the ssy state of the area through her eyes, her heart raced badly. ‘Where the hell are you Charles?’
Since last night, she hasn’t slept well. Her eyes carried heaviness but she dared not to blink her eyes, as her heart was beating at the hopes. Charles must be fine, right? He won’t have been inside these buildings during the attacks, right?
Her mind grew worried and couldn’t help but bring her hand on her chest.
But then, she saw the door of the apartnt opening and a familiar face in her sight.
“Charles...”
Sierra jumped from a place to run and hug him tightly in her embrace, “Thank God you are fine...you are safe...”
A sudden attack from her took Charles off guard. However, he was successful in handling her and caressed her hair softly, “Hmm. I told you I will be fine...”
“I saw the news. I was afraid for you...” Sierra didn’t dare to doubt but Charles raised his smile, “How do you know it was done by us?”
“Who else was on the revenge last night?” Sierra gave him a aningful glare and he smiled, “You are right. No one was there to fulfill their thrust of revenge except us...”
Sierra nodded her head. Then her gaze swept across his clothes to find them filled with mud. She knew he was on a mission last night and directly ca to see them.
“Go and change. We will have our lunch together.” Sierra declared but Charles tugged her hand again. He was looking in her eyes with so seriousness and took a deep breath to say with a huge heart.
“We won’t have lunch here.” Hearing this, Sierra frowned. “You have co just now. If not here, then....?”
At this point, Charles had no idea how to explain the complicated relationships that existed in their hos now. Yet, that was the first duty to put forward as the eldest child of the family and who has recently discovered the true identity of his younger sister.
“We will go to et Amaira now.”
