Chapter 529: Killing Jennifer’s mother!
“Master...we never wanted to betray anyone!”
“Yet you did. You betrayed your late Queen when you knew very well that she trusts you a lot. Alia... you broke her trust the mont you shook hands with her enemies to kill her.”
King Richard’s every word was like a slash in her heart. Alia knew she had committed a huge mistake that she should have avoided at any cost.
However, it is all done to escape. If her secrets with David were exposed in the country, her image would have been ruined.
At the sa ti, King Richard’s eyes didn’t leave Alia’s body where she winced in pain. The dicinal fluid inside her had shown its impact. There was a sharp pain that was subrged in her bones. They were on the verge of cracking, giving the sensation of her mind going crazy.
“Please! Stop this!” Alia begged but no one ca forward for help. Robert and Henry witnessed her desperation and her loneliness to the point. She had fallen on the other side of her face on the ground but her eyes were closed shut.
“Tell us, Alia,” said Robert. “If you tell us the truth, I will give you an antidote for this pain.”

“I-I... don’t know...anything! Please...Aghh..” Alia’s hoarse voice surrounded the entire room But the three n didn’t pay any attention to the lady’s worsening condition.
They had shifted their attention back to David whose face was filled with dirt and cold sweat. His eyes bulged on seeing his wife’s condition and this brought an undefined horror to his heart. “Lord..please save her, save us! W-e didn’t kill or die! We didn’t kill our queen!”
“You can’t negotiate with us. All you can do is tell the truth and disclose the facts. Once you tell us everything, I will give you an antidote. But I can’t say for how long you will survive like this..” Robert wasn’t giving any re threats.
The couple knew about the ruthlessness that rested in Prince Robert’s blood. He was the crowned Prince of the Kingdom and there was no way he would step down from his words.
While Alia was burning with pain in her body, the more scared David beca. His heart stopped beating for minutes until he finally gave up on his words, “I will tell! I will tell you! Please..get her the antidote...”
“You better say because sooner, you will also beco like her.” This ti, King announced as his eyes glittered with wicked intent.
The three of them watched as Alia suffered badly. She was still stubborn to not disclose anything, in contrast to how David was all ready to spill the beans to them.
For sure, Alia has been one of the closest servants of the late queen. If she was so weak then the Queen wouldn’t have let her be close to her.
Unfortunately, she backstabbed that trust.
David knew they didn’t want to know anything from him but Alia. Since she knew better than him, he directed his voice towards her,”Alia! Just tell them. Do you want to die from this pain?!”
anwhile, Alia’s mind had turned blank the mont the pain erupted in her body. She could feel her bones suffering from long cracks and heart beating non-stop
However, when she heard David’s words, it did strike her, “Lord! Ye-yes...I was the one who had added everything in Late Queen’s drink.”
“We-we were contacted by our rivals. They had sothing which was very troubleso for to announce. If that was leaked anywhere then my reputation in the Kingdom would have been ruined. They blackmailed and David against our secrets..”
King Richard didn’t wish to know about the secrets either. All he needed was the detail, “What else?”
“T-they said that if we cooperate with them then they would give a large sum and we will escape from the Kingdom to start a new life. Since they knew that the Queen would leave with Process, they asked to mix the drug in her tea before she departed from the Kingdom...”
“After we reached the forest, the enemies attacked us and the rest of the soldiers were killed by them. The carriage of the Queen was stopped on her way back to her Maternal house and she was taken to gunpoint. Only I and David were allowed to leave... and Queen was.. ”
She didn’t find the reason to announce the rest of the story. Alia lifted her eyes to look at the King’s expressions and found him not at all shocked.
In fact, it depicted as if he already knew what she told.
Her words were secondary and if she tried to mislead him, he might have taken her life till now. But all he did was to stay calm, except for the fist of his hands and hardened jaw.
A murderous glint passed through his eyes before he spoke, “What about Ava whom you now call Jennifer?”
“The enemies knew she was one of the most loved Princesses. To give pain to all of the Princes and you, they asked us to take her and change her identity to a Jennifer. We didn’t hesitate either because she helped us to take the new identity as a family. David and I married and we used the money to make a business....”
“Agh...this pain! Ws-we knew once she grows, you would find her sooner or later. To dispose of this, we thought of marrying her with Lucas Smith before you could reach up to her. But I guess we were already late.”
Alia’s every word was a harsh truth that slapped King’s mind.
His daughter was taken from him the mont his Queen left. The sole thought of being ripped from both of his precious things startled him twenty-five years ago. He was ready to give up everything and turned the world upside down to find them....
In the end, he laid his hands on Queen’s corpse which confird her death
But his daughter’s corpse never caught his eyes. He firmly believed that she wasn’t dead until he didn’t see her with his two eyes. For years he had been searching for her and so were her brothers.
Yet, when they found her, they realized that their daughter was held hostage with Johnsons and used as a trade machine between two gangsters.
In front of him kneeled two people who were behind his wife’s death, which enraged his heart. Fury took over his face as he finally said.
“Henry, Robert. Give them what they deserve for killing one life...and ruining another. Don’t show your rcy on them at all, they don’t need that.”
