“Are you even serious with this Jack?”
“Absolutely.”
Jack’s eyes shone in determination, which she had hardly seen.
In the five years of their marriages, she had realized that this man is almost unmovable in his decisions. Years ago, she had asked him to make a promise to her and now, even after five years, he is ready to execute it.
Why? because he is simply the man of his words. If being his wife is causing her distress, he will simply let her go as per the rules they followed. It was done from both sides and no one even brought this up from the last few years until so ti ago...
A deep sigh escaped from her lips, where Sierra couldn’t help but find the courage to lift her eye and he hadn’t torn his eyes away from her figure. She is shivering badly, so is he persistent in his words.
There was a deep silence that fell by, but it was supposed to be broken by any of them. “There is nothing to worry about, Sierra.”

“There are children involved in this Jack. How am I not supposed to worry about them?” Sierra raised her true concern and that was the children they shared. Both of them are still very young. Who will keep them in these dangerous situations? What excuses are they supposed to be makeup for everything? It was a tough decision to reconsider.
At the sa ti, the door of one of the rooms was opened. Noah and Ailey had simply co out to speak to the person, who might have co into their ho after they had heard the doorbell.
But when their eyes fell upon the person, another bright smile had reached up to their ears. “DADDY!!!”
Both the children ran in Jack’s direction, which pulled Sierra and Jack out from their serious conversation. Imdiately, there was a drastic change in Jack’s attitude. The cold, determined look was replaced with the soft-hearted expression when he lifted himself from the seat to sit on the ground and opened his arms for his children.
“Noah, Ailey, co here. Give daddy a hug now!”
“Oh, dad.” Giving him a bear hug, they both hung to his arm like any other koala. As if their superhero had returned in their lives. “You know how much we missed you?”
“I miss my children. It was really difficult for daddy to live without your both’s presence too.”
It was Noah who pulled away from his dad’s embrace first to look at him, “You know, we asked mommy to call you many tis. But she always said that you are busy with work.”
Hearing this comnt, Jack’s eyes flew to see Sierra behind him, whose guilt lowered her eyes. “Is that so, Sierra?”
“I-I...”
There was no need for her to respond since Jack had rotated his head to look at his son to rub his hair softly before passing him a soft smile again, “Your mother was right. I was quite busy with work. But I was busy with work so that I can get back to both of you as soon as possible. As you both didn’t talk with , I completed my work to co to you.”
“So daddy did all his work and now will live with us here!” Ailey scread with excitent and held her barbie doll in her hand. Witnessing her daughter’s excitent, Sierra’s eyes were worn out. She had to dig her nails hard into her own flesh, to not let herself be cried upon. ‘How am I supposed to deal with these two and tell them that....their daddy might never see them again? Or maybe, I might never co to them?’
They haven’t decided with whom will children stay but the thought of the situation is itself an overbearing idea to consider.
It was ntally challenging for her to accept that there are chances that they will react in the worst manner but Sierra kept herself still positive. “Um..what would you like to have, Jack? I was going to prepare dinner for every one of us. So..”
“As usual. Whatever my children will like, prepare that for today, Sierra. Till that ti, I’ll play with these two munchkins of mine.” Saying this, Jack carried both the brother-sister duo to the couch to tickle and cuddle with them. At this stage, seeing the tree of their interaction only swelled Sierra’s heart.
She was herself disbelief about how are they all able to be so happy? How is Jack so comfortable when he had himself through the option of the divorce?
Hesitation crawled under her flesh but Sierra had bit her lip to finally march in the kitchen and make so food for the four of them for the night.
However, when Jack saw her vanishing from his sight, a sardonic look had once again appeared in those eyes. A slight glint passed by, but he had hidden them back to lower his smile again... Noah and Ailey simply enjoyed his company, until he had called his personal secretary too into the house to pass so instructions.
Jack had made the siblings play, while he let his personal assistant appear outside the door of the apartnt while Sierra made the dinner. Taking the opportunity, he faced his personal assistant, asking him, “Try to find the way to contact the one and only Mr. Johnson.”
“Also, the na is Charles Johnson. Do it for before tonight. As soon as possible.” The CEO passed the order, with his eyes shining the golden glint. He was omiting the sexiest yet overbearing power, yet to control.
The assistant nodded his head to enquire, “What do you want to list about this eting?”
“Ask him to et at the terrace at midnight, if he wants to know the truth about what happened five years ago which made his lover....leave him.”
