"Laid? hahaha..." Veronica can't help but laugh at the comnt. In the back of her mind, she can't help but feel herself almost thinking about giving it a try. Despite being a virgin, it never occurred that she should actually waste her virginity in such a way.
On the other hand, Drake didn't budge his eyes from her face, "Yeah, why not? You Aren't known to the entire world yet. Except for the few people here, you can always shield your identity and act as any other girl..."
Hearing this, Veronica's eyelashes shifted down where she gulped the drink in one go. The taste seed soured to her where the frown curved her forehead. "It is strong!"
"Obviously. You asked for sothing which will actually reduce your pain. This one was for that.." Drake told her openly before he winked at her to signal her, "Give it a try Veronica. You have to let go of your first crush...c'mon, don't be a cringe."
"But whom will I get laid with?" Veronica's half-smile didn't an what she had asked bluntly. Till now, she was much sober and knowingly, Veronica will never do this in her state. Though her heart was looking out for the distraction, was opting for this thod a good way?
On her question, Drake signaled her to look behind, which she did to find that in the corner of the bar, there was a group of the boys who sat together. Out of them, there was a man with blonde hair looking in her direction. While he took the sip out of his glass, his gaze was stagnant at her figure.
It gave her goosebumps, but the one with lips upwards, "Not bad..." her mutter was caught by Drake who nodded his head, "You are correct, not bad. He looks smart and probably, a no-string attached night will work for you."
Rotating in Drake's direction, Veronica winked her eyes. As the curve presented in her eyes, a glint of play had appeared in her mind. Maybe going out for dance will also give her the test of the man?
With this thought, Veronica bit her lower lip, before she made her way in the midst of the dance floor without tearing her gaze from the man, who was still among his friends. While the others the boys talked, he stayed quiet and was busier in gazing at her. At this sight, her heart did flush but she kept her legs still.
Veronica was wearing a red-colored jumpsuit, a flesh red color of love...and blood. The drink had already started to show its impact on her bloodstream which was losing its way as well. However, she won't give in so easily either.
Veronica closed her eyes as her hands traced her entire body. Swinging on the currently played song, she swung her hips in the other direction, as her hands floated in the air while touching her inner self. The sight of hers was luxurious, which attracted much of the unwanted attention as well.
When the blonde man got the hint that others were also aiming for his target, he imdiately got up before walking in Veronica's direction. She was all among the people who were having fun, so were having a fierce ti right there with each other, but she was all in her mood of enjoying herself.
"Miss, I shall warn you that there is a lot of eye care preying on you right now." A deep attractive voice made Veronica imdiately turn around to look at the blonde man who had stepped closer to her, in the middle of the dance floor.
"I can't control their eyesight. Neither can I stop , entirely because of others."? Veronica told honestly without letting attitude die down. "And I guess... I wasn't only prey to the others' eyes, I suppose."
"Absolutely not." The blonde man had tugged his hand in the pocket of his jacket before he asked, "Mind if we talk sowhere else?"
"Why not here?" Veronica didn't give up so easily.
Taking another step closer, her seductiveness was reaching its peak. From behind her, she knew that Drake was also cheering for her braveness, for what she did next.
Without thinking twice, Veronica brought the man's hand around her waist where she tugged his hand. Sliding through his well-built muscles, Veronica brought both the hands to be locked around his shoulders "I like this one... better..."
"Well...."? The man didn't reply either except to follow her lead. Fortunately, the song being played was a sensational one. It allowed both of them to not only sense the music but to gaze in each other's eyes as well. There was no conversation held but to stare at each other with the midst of layers following under the different colors of the lights.
'He is seriously handso..' Veronica realized that he can't be any playboy either. Can she ask him for a no-string attached night?? It didn't seem appropriate but he seed genuine at least.
'No one is genuine in these kinds of bars even..' this was the harsh truth but he does look her age as well. Not too old, not too young, probably a fresh graduate from a university like her.
"You were looking upset earlier, Miss.." the man told her, gaining attention, "So...were you noticing for a long ti then?" In return, he nodded his head without lying to her face.
She was happy that he didn't try to hit on her with another cheesy one except to keep the bare minimum talks, without the lies. "You can call Veronica." She told him confidently, not revealing her surna to him.
In return, he said, "Max." was a small reply from his side, making her nod her head.
But the night was very young, so she tried the different kinds of ss that was building upon her chest.
"Max...do you wish to take this dance a bit far away from this dance floor?"
