Chapter 265 - Remove Mistress Title
"No! You can't do that father! Lucas is your grandson! How can you literally snatch the things from him?" Amara raised her voice when she was on the verge of falling to the ground.
The state already made her lose her wits and yell at him, despite knowing that he is her elder.
Grandfather didn't react much, only to say, "So is Jas, my grandson, similarly to Lucas. I have two children to look after."
"But you always trained Lucas to be your heir! He is the one who is going to take after your dear legacy. The legacy of the Smiths!" Amara can never digest the fact that Grandfather was so easy going against her and her son.
Why!?? She can't determine that at all yet her heart was already shattering in small pieces.'This is the start… Jas.. has the power to capture each and everything…'
Knowing her son was on the wrong path, his position was in danger. It needs to be safeguarded as soon as possible.
Jas, who was quiet till now, finally opened his mouth to say, "Ms. Amara, you don't have to worry about this at all. I have all the skills to work and manage the Smiths group."
Averting his gaze, he stared at Lucas whose face was covered with a frosty layer of ice, "My dear young brother.. needs to learn many things from ."
"You shut up your fucking mouth! I'm not your younger brother!" Lucas answered with an aggressive approach when his fist was ready to land a punch on his face.

"Wrong? What is wrong with that? This is just the truth and we can't hide it for long too." Veronica replied with a straight face without even a single emotion.
Yet her eyes were directly looking at the grandfather who did the sa.
As if they communicating through their eyes, there was deep hatred and annoyance on Veronica's face.
"What do you have to say, Elder Master." Her voice brought all of their attention towards the grandfather when he held his stick tightly and lifted his eyes to et hers, "The heir of the Smiths will be one and only."
"Either it can be Lucas or.. Jas. In the end, whoever runs the company better and I see the capability of doing so, is getting the title of the heir as well… and the other one will have to leave for abroad to stay away from the lilight."
The words were straight and held enough power to destroy Lucas and Amara at that mont.
Amara's eyes moved towards no one else but Veronica whose smirk only widened. 'She must be feeling as if she is on the top of the moon…' Amara's heart only kept on crashing at this thought.
Why was this happening with her!?
On the other hand, Lucas, who stayed stagnant in his place, didn't even move a second. All he did was look at his grandfather and Jas whose appearance had impacted enough.
"You will.. regret this grandfather.." he mumbled while his teeth grind against each. Without further due, he left the villa while Amara moved to her room.
Grandfather also left for his office space,? leaving Veronica and Jas alone in the entire hall. Turning around, he peeked at his mother who was clutching her purse. "You are alright mother?"
"I have never been better than this," Veronica answered with a? timid voice, enough to make Jas worried.
He walked by her side to make her sit on the couch behind her while he bent on his knees. "You don't have to worry. If you don't w-"
"It isn't about what I want or not." She stopped in the middle to look at Jas while she held his hands into hers, ".. Because of you, they recognized .. as soone in their family. They.. at least considered you as their family mber.. as a Smith…"
Her eyes video amidst the tears present in them. The redness of her nose was evident and Jas' heart was pricked by those emotions of hers. Bringing his hand near her face, he wiped her tears of which were at the bay of falling.
With a straight look, he opened his mouth, "You don't have to worry. Even though they didn't recognize your and dad's love, if they are willing to take , am I not the result of your deep love towards each other?"
Veronica's smile shifted a bit when she vigorously nodded her head. "You are…"
"That's all that matters," Jas replied before he stood on the couch to hug his mother. She kept her head on his chest while the tears of joy overflowed out of her eyes.
She was happy, at least after the man's death, his father is willing to let them in this family. "You have the chance…. To snatch everything from Lucas, Jas."
"And I will do that." Jas resud with the utmost confidence. His voice and bravery were reaching their peak where he didn't let anything hamper his plan and determination that shined in his eyes. "This is what you deserve. So what if Ms. Amara gained the na of Mrs. Smith? You are the real lover of dad and so does this belong to you."
"I will see, how long can that bastard Lucas hold this up with his scheming mother." Jas cupped his mother's face into her hand to say, "This ti, your dear son will definitely remove the title of the third woman or mistress from your mother."
"J-Jas…" Veronica never realized that her dear son will go to this length to get the things done for her. Solely for them.
"I promise mother. Keep the trust in because… Soon, Jas Smith will handle all the Smith business from now onwards."
