Chapter 259 - About Austin Brown
"That is sothing not expected out of him, you know that?" Austin said what his heart said.
His aura dropped to the next extent when he realized that the ga was slowly and steadily getting more complicated. Now, he needs to decide which side he is going to be on.
"But Lucas is doing the sa. He is ready to steal it from his mother's closet and you know that if he is bent on doing sothing, then he will make sure to get it done by hook or crook."
Olivia's words did make sense to his ears when he nodded his head as well, "Her parents are here. Lucas has helped them.."
"You are correct. They ca here themselves and... forget about it. I don't think so, they will be able to convince Jennifer so easily." Olivia changed the topic swiftly without dropping any hint.
Her eyes shined with a glint as she recalled the talk of the sa day that took place in Lucas's house. However, she knew that it was the precious information to safeguard, 'If I tell Austin about it..this will only leak Lucas's plan and my own things will be ruined..'
She had no such intention. Although, she was working to destroy Lucas but not this way around, because, in the end, she needs the power in her hand as well..
Austin stayed silent throughout yet his mind was already working forward on how to devise his plans. At the end of the day, he can't be the one with the disadvantage, "Since Lucas is helping them, do you think he has any motive?"
"W-what motive are you taking.. ab-about?" Olivia's stumbling voice-only raised Austin's eyebrows, "Lucas must be in the situation to gain sothing otherwise he will not go to such an extent.."
The comnt brought sweat to Olivia's face when she clutched the corner of her skirt tightly. Her face started to pale when the eyes almost felt heaviness covering them with ti,' Does he know?'
She wasn't sure of this but sohow, her instincts told her not to ruin this ss, "I have no idea about it. Do you?"
"No.. I don't know anything as well. Anyways.." Austin cleared his throat slightly to say further, "We will find this out sooner or later."
"Y-yeah. Alright. I should hang up. Otherwise, if Lucas gets any hint about being a spy, he will behead in front of? others." With This, Olivia imdiately kept her phone when she sighed in relief.
Only if she could explain how much her anxiety was taking a toll on her mind. Keeping her face in the laps of her hand, the only way she found to relax herself and her mind was to lie to Austin.
"Isn't' this funny? I'm lying to a man like him… who handled in my worst ti and fell for a monster who doesn't even care about … but Austin also doesn't give a? damn so they all are the sa.." Olivia muttered in between her breath when she realized the entire situation.
Since no one was providing her with any specific benefits, she understood one thing and that was to raise and gain power by herself.
But what they both were forgetting was, the thing they both were already hiding…
No matter how much they both try, the situation won't change, nor will the truth behind Lucas' actions….

While making his way downstairs, Javier t Charles who stopped in the middle of the corridor to say, "What happened brother?"
"I think we need to talk," Charles said with quite a serious face to which receive a nod. Signaling him, they both walked to the backyard where they were pretty much alone.
Facing his brother, Javier seed quite worried after noting the evident anxiousness that lingered in his brother's eyes, "Is there sothing bothering you?"
"Aren't you the one who is constantly giving tons of tension and worries? And you are then asking if sothing is hurting ?" A scoff left Charles's face when he stared at Javier with a clear mocking.
Scratching his head, Javier took a deep breathe to say, "I do know that I have done plenty of things which might not make a sense to you b-"
"Mom used to say that sotis, sothing might not make any sense to us. Maybe actions are enough to explain." Repeating the words of their mother, Charles's eyes shined with glory.
The words were a piece of advice given to both the siblings before they were left alone in this world. After going through hurdles in her life, the consultant he arrived with had the sa comnt.
Javier seems to be affected when his eyes try to take a peek at his brother, and find that there was no hint of sadness. All that surfaced was confidence and purity.
'What event showed up for him to say this?' There was no such denying in his head but he wasn't able to stop himself from saying, "Probably yes. But she surely said that explain to the things to your loved one because they are the ones who will help you throughout."
"For sure. But I don't plan to get interfered with your personal affairs." Charles imdiately bought one of his hands out of his pants pocket and kept it on Javier's shoulders.
With a faint yet confident smile over his face, there was no such thing to deny that he had co here for a specific motive to fulfill.
Looking into his intoxicating eyes, "I'm here to help you out with your affair, not to ddle in them you asked for , and have pure information for you."
Javier's mouth opened slightly but no words ca out after seeing when Charles pulled an envelope from his pocket and handed it to Javier.
Taking it in his hands, Javier imdiately started to tear it in a hurry when he asked in between, "What does this contain?:"
"Just what you asked, who is Austin Brown."
