Chapter 221 - Marry ..!
"I love you... Javier. I have fallen for.. you long ago.."
Jennifer finally confessed what she was hoping for so long. It was hard when the droplets from her eyes were on the stage of falling.
'Why am I so emotional while telling my feelings?' Her intent wasn't to confess rather mock him but the slip of tongue resulted in this ss.
While she knew that the blunder was done, her attention was fixed on Javier's expression to note his eyes widened..
Not only that, she can feel his body stiff at her words which made him subconsciously grab the blanket beneath them, "Y..y...You are kidding, right?"
"N..No.."
Jennifer answered back in a timid tone yet she kept her chin high. Looking straight into his eye as if she had no intention of moving her gaze even a bit.
"You trick with Javier.. you played with really well. In the end, I'm telling you that you have completed your task and I have fallen for you."
"Now what?! What do you want from ? trying to make Lucas jealous? Or playing with my feelings for now? Tell now!" She was furious, only to realize that her words now made no sense to him.
Javier was in a total daze which seems like an eternity for him. She doesn't know why but it made her slightly worried too.
'Have I said sothing wrong?' Maybe she went overboard in anger and fury but now the ss was created and has been done.
The conversation which should have taken place yesterday is finally taking place now.
"I.. told you sothing?"Jennifer cleared her throat to pull his attention when he tore the gaze away and looked out of the window. "What are you even saying?"
"I'm young. This isn't any kids of the bluff.." Said Jennifer, when Javier didn't answer imdiately.
Rather, he moved his gaze at her face as if to know whether it was any kind of joke which she cracked or not.
For him, it was almost unbelievable but Jennifer knew how much anxiety she was going on inside her heart.
Taking a deep breath, Jennifer asked to further"Do.. you have sothing to say?"
Nodding his head, he never tore his eyes away, "Jennifer, you know this isn't the first ti I have been proposed to by soone?"
She wasn't taken aback. A man like him who is good-looking might have saved hundreds of proposals in the past.
Yet that wasn't her concern. Instead, his sentence carried a hidden aning too. "So?"
"Just telling you that I do know the difference between love and lust. If you think that I have played with you, I would have done that through lust. My actions were all pure, neither done intentionally."
Was he clearing her on this topic? It seed that to her but she wants' sure till yet.
Probably he is joking? 'But why will he clear this if he has nothing towards ?'
Jennifer wanted to ask sothing about his inner feelings too. But sohow, she controlled her urges since those are sothing she can't force either.
Feeling arises from the depth of one's heart and forcibly asking might sound rude too. Neither did she want his fake feelings which will in return hurt her.. she was down with the fake promise!
A thick silence took over when Javier coughed to explain further, "I told you that I have kidnaped you from your wedding… because of Lucas but because of one more reason."
Averting her eyes, she stared at his well-defined face which was in the direction of the window. She doesn't why but her heart wasn't cooperating with her brain either.
Instead of excitent, he was covered with dread and uneasiness which started spreading all over. a feeling of known appeared in her mind but wanting sothing to unimagine will take place.
"I told you that I will also reveal that at the right ti.." Javier's words left a shock. Was it the right ti to reveal or be nearby? She can't hold it anymore, "Can you tell now?"
"Are You that curious?" A chuckle escaped his lips but didn't bring any change in her expression. She remained stagnant to her risk and seeing that Javier laughed, "Because I didn't want you to get married to that bastard. Simple as that.."
"I do have feelings for you, don't ask where, when, or anything, just know that you aren't alone in this ss of love. I'm also the one who is floating in the sea.."
The word left her in shock. Surprises are written all over her face when she can't digest everything at one single mont as well, 'Does that an that.. he too feels sa towards ?'
A crazy thought surfaced in her mind when she couldn't define how much overjoyed was she. Tons of sentints were circulating in her mind.
But his next statent dropped all her happiness on the ground too, "But I will have to marry Emily, no matter what…"
Why? Jennifer wasn't convinced, "You don't love her then why marry her?! Are your parents forcing you to do the dam?"
Receiving a nod from his side made her suspicion n turn into a confirmation. 'So his parents are the reason behind this all-marriage thing.'
Yet it wasn't easy to believe he will adhere to whatever his father will ask him.
A rebellious child like him will never go for that engagent, arranged by his parents. Emily.
But if he gets married what will happen to her? What About her feelings then!? Jennifer was in turmoil but her instincts told her sothing else, to face hi..
Taking Javier's hand into hers, she asked him to see into her eyes with tenderness.
Without blinking, Javier did as she said to see Jennifer quite nervous.
Beads of sweat were ford on her face, while she bit her lower lip, indicating that she isn't' sure about sothing at all.
"I have an idea.."
"Hmm? tell then.." Javier asked to which Jennifer finally took a deep breathe to express her side.
"Will you marry ..?"
