Chapter 217 - Injured!
The sight only brought restlessness to each one of them. At this mont Austin felt his soul almost lifting up from this world itself. "Jennifer.."
Muttering her na in between, what ca in his view was sothing unexpected.
Jennifer was lying on the floor with her hand covered in blood. Her face was covered with the flap of her hair yet the ss that she created wasn't missed from their eyes.
At the sa ti, Hannah imdiately stepped in, behind Austin and yelled Jennifer's na on the top of her lungs. "JEN!!"
Walking towards her through the pieces of the broken vase, she finally ca to the lady and tried to shake Jennifer's face but to no avail did she wake. "Jennifer!! Open your eyes. Oh my Gosh.. Austin! There is a lot of blood on her hand."
"Umm? Ye..yeah!" He was pulled out of his daze when Hannah called his na.
Instead of straight, he walked to her side and said, "Let carry her to the end first."
"Please.. be careful.." Austin lifted her heavy body from the ground itself and sohow made it when lay on the soft mattress.
Her dress was wrinkled and her shoulder was bleeding too.
Seeing all the cuts and wounds only made Hannah's heart squeeze, "Jenn.. please open your eyes. See, we are here. Jennifer!"
Sitting beside her, Hannah started rubbing her hands slowly to provide her so warmth. Jennifer's body was totally covered with a coldness which was sothing worriso too.
Getting no response from her already made both of them panic. Turning her face, Hannah said to Austin, "Call The doctor imdiately! Right now!"
"I will do that!" Just when he was ready to walk out of the room, he ca in front of Charles who just stepped inside.
Charles's eyes were hollow yet no one can deny that he was under imnse pressure.
Averting his eyes in Jennifer's side, did he ca across the body who laid motionlessly, "What happened to her? And why are so many things broken?"
This question brought a scoff on Austin's face when he smiled sarcastically and replied back, "I guess you should ask the brother of yours, who was imrsed in two-timing. Get side! I need to call a doctor."
"No need for you to do that. I will call my family doctor. He will arrive soon." Without further delay on this, Austin agreed.
Since he knew that this territory is of Johnson, they have more contacts as compared to him.
Charles walked out of the room and returned back within two minutes to give them a positive answer. "He will be here in the next five minutes. Need not to worry.."
"Not to worry? Mr. Johnson, she is lying like a dead body! You are telling us that there is nothing to worry about? Oh my, Austin! co here!"
Hannah's yelling didn't offend Charles but he kept mum.
On The other hand, Austin imdiately by her side and did the sa thing which Hannah is currently doing, rubbing Jennifer's legs and hands to give her so warmth.
Charles remained distant but he knew that blunder was already created.
A frown was curved on his forehead when he realized the entire situation was proceeding in the wrong direction now.
'Javier.. your decision will affect many lives…'

As Charles had earlier made the call, the doctor arrived within the next five minutes.
He ca really prepared with his bag and court. asuring Jennifer's vital with carefulness, made Hannah bite her lower lip.
They all stood on one side and provided enough space for the doctor to do the asure checkup.
Since they arrived in the room, her eyes never tore from the hand of Jennifer which was covered with blood.
The amount of blood made it difficult for them to know whether there was any cut or.. so of the minor issues. "Austin, do you think that she has.. cut her wrist?"
The voice was low but enough to be heard by everyone present. Charles shifted his attention to Hannah's undoubted face while Austin answered with a shook.
"She is strong enough.. she won't go that way."
"When you get heartbreak, you never know what love makes you do. She was depressed." It was all true and Hannah was already feeling as if her heart was waiting for the Doctor to complete his checkup.
While she was deeply anxious and still sohow understanding the bit of the situation, Austin's rage was already high.
Austin stood in silence and didn't reply back imdiately. Rather, he asked the doctor straightforwardly, "Doctor, is she fine!? Has.. she cut.. her wrist?"
"No, she didn't. Instead, she took a large broken piece of glass and held it too tightly. I don't know why she even held a glass broke piece which was supposed to only hurt.."
'Because she wasn't in the right state of mind..' Hannah replied but didn't want those words to slip from her mouth.
Wrapping her hands around her shoulders, she tried to warm herself a little bit but it was too hard when her gaze was almost gazing at Jennifer's pale face.
This ti, Charles cleared his throat, to ask, "Will she be fine?"
"Yes, Mr. Johnson. Just let her take a rest. I have removed the glass piece now. It will hurt a bit in the starting so I'm prescribing so dicines. Please give them to her." The doctor was polite as he kept all his instrunts back in his bag.
"Alright, as per your say." Charles didn't try to know more but it was evident that at one point, he was scared that sothing might have happened to her.
But his aloof attitude irked Austin a lot. He can't help but feel himself boiling indie when the rage reached his head.
The urge to say beca high when he faced Charles with stubborn, "Obviously! How will you guys even care? Especially when the person behind the misery is no one else but your dear brother.."
