Chapter 197 - Is That Love?
The words made Jennifer silent. Any individual? Whom was Hannah trying to indicate in her words?!
"Say... it's clear Hannah."
"The man.. whom you introduced inside. Your kidnapper. The Johnson heir… is there sothing that I have missed? Between you?"
Jennifer relaxed that it was all true to say her best friend's eyes were sharp as that of an eagle.
Just in a few re minutes, she already analyzed the entire situation? How!? Although it wasn't hard by how she reached yet it amazed her to the next level.
Clearing her throat, Jennifer simply averted her gaze towards the beautiful view, "you must have been misunderstanding everything.."
Hearing this, Hannah's eyes are shaped with her brows lifting upwards. "Am I?" A suspicious glare passed through her eyes which was directed in Jennifer's direction.
"Javier.. is simply a friend.. at least for the now. Although, there is nothing I know or can say about the future. Just for now, he is simply a friend."
As if, Jennifer knew her inner feelings too, but this won't be the right ti to accept the sa.
"Go ahead and tell the sa on my face but you better know, I'm your best friend...who knows you better than yourself. My dear, you have found your first love.. in your kidnapper, isn't it true?! How cute? Hmm?"
In response to this, Hannah received a deathly glare from Jennifer's side. The words weren't pleasant to hear, although she knew that they weren't wrong.
She fled her lips when she asked herself, "Loving Javier.. a taken man.. is that possible?"
Absolutely!
Her mind exclaid but her heart wasn't processing the things rightly either.
What made her wonder was, how can she easily agree to her words? "Hannah.. how can you say that I'm already in love?"
Hannah seems surprised too. For the very first ti, Jennifer has tried asking about, instead of straightaway denying the sa.
It made Hannah already screwed to the core.
Still, calming herself, she answered with the sweetest voice, "Probably.. when you don't like when his mood is gloomy. Or whenever.. his life is in danger. His absence starts to affect you, not much but yes it surely does."
Hannah wasn't soone who was in love currently.
Yet, she has the knowledge about the entire thing because of her past experiences when they were in university.
The wicked smile on Hannah's face enlargened on how entirely she found the situation to be.
The innocent Jennifer was finally finding her way into the world of.. love and affection. How cute!?
Jennifer simply didn't reply for so ti.
She took her in to process each world and analyze the sit on step by step, to recall if sothing happened with her?
Many incidents appeared in her brain, which exactly matched with what she just answered.
If they all are taken into consideration on… then.. is the conclusion right?
Has she been in love with this man for quite so ti now?
Because of the Lack of response from Jennifer, Hannah didn't do so much with respect to the sa.
She sealed her mouth and stood there in silence. The silence wasn't awkward but understandable between the two.
After who knows.. how many minutes have already been analyzed when Javier appeared on the deck, opening the sliding door. "So... if the talks between two best friends are done for the day, can you both please co backside?"
Both of them turned around to look at Javier who was looking utterly handso... Nodding her head, they stepped inside the house to see the dining table filled with the lunch, so dishes already ready!
"Javier! Have you prepared this all or was it so..takeout?" she wasn't sure so she asked away. In return, she got a positive response by his nod.
Hannah seed stunned by the entire feast that was present in front of her.
Each dish looked delicious, where she was ready to savor it too.
Hannah and Jennifer took their respective seats where Hannah took the spoon in her hand and drank the soup made by the man.
"Umm.. that's really good! Have you taken any skills from the chef? This can beat even five starting restaurants!" The complint made Javier smile. At The sa ti, Jennifer was very much proud. "See! I told you the sa!"
"Yes you did.." looking at Jennifer from head to toe, Hannah stared at her figure with an intense look, "Now. I know why this girl is actually looking older than .... maybe the food of yours has made her a little heavier!"
Jennifer's face almost lost its color, "Hey!" A furious look appeared on her face when she slapped her shoulder against Hannah's back. "Think before you speak! I'm not fat! You are that.. the boy who is fatty! Hmm!"
Seeing words exchanged between the two, Javier knows that they were already getting well.
The smile on Jennifer's face was sothing he was craving to witness and finally, after seeing the damages his heart is at ease.
At least one of his works brought that widening smile on her lips which traced her eyes. 'Hm… hopefully in the future too. I always do what makes her happy..'
Until he realized that, sothing in the near future...an event will turn everything will turn upside down very soon...
Keeling the thoughts at the back of his mind, Javier asked Ellen to join them.
All the four of them had their lunch in peace when the girl kept on bubbling while n stayed silent. They simply observe their little giggles, and can only see their deep boning.
Afterward, when they were entirely done, it was ti for Javier and Jennifer to leave.
Since Hannah was called on the special permit, she was supposed to reside here in this bungalow itself.
"And you will have to live here for a long ti.. so Ellen will stay with you here."
Hannah's eyes narrowed when she switched her gaze from Javier to Ellen, and back to Javier."You an to say this driver and this…. cold-hearted man!?"
