Chapter 175 - Ex-girlfriend Issues!
Hanging up imdiately, Javier held his phone in his other hand and opened the laptop to check on the recent mail forwarded to him by Ellen.
Reading the content, how the heart turns red alertness.
He can feel his breath was almost on the verge of vanishing with sweat ford all over his face.
'Damn… she.. is.. like seriously!? after so many years?' It looked too unbelievable to his eyes.
No, his heart was not able to accept the fact that.. the lady who has gone away from all of them, ways for so long is.. now...
'What will happen to brother then? How will he react after this?'
Javier's mind wander around the possibility of his brother almost losing his calm mind and burying his anger on each and every day
Without wasting any more ti in his office, Javier made his way back to his house.
Speeding the car at the maximum speed, he was at a high risk of getting into an accident badly.
Yet kind of made him lost in thoughts, thinking about what will happen in the house once brother gets the news about the arrival, which he read a few minutes ago?
Racing his car at its highest speed, he left the car parked without closing the doors and ran inside the mansion.
The first thing he ever did was to find the butler and at his sight, ask him worriedly, "Is the brother back now?"
"I'm sorry Young Master but the first young master has not returned till yet. He said.. that there are so etings so he will probably miss the dinner too."
Javier's lines on his forehead deepened, thinking about the re possibility if the brother already knows?
Or was the stay to be an option, was it just a re eting!?
Seeing the frown curved on Javier's face, and seeing his almost worried to death, butler asked with a concern, "You.. want to do sothing for you?"
"Um… no. Just let know when he returned back the first thing, even in the night. It a humble request.,"
"No worries. I inform you the first.."
Having the assurance from the Butler, Javier made his way towards his room.
Still in fear whether he should go ahead and tell his brother or keep him dark about the sa?
Sensing his brother's anger, and how much he cared at that ti, made his heart squeeze a bit. Will he be able to be himself?
But what Javier failed to see was when he entered the room, Jennifer who was currently reading the articles, saw his concern written all over his face.
'He.. is walking strangely. As if.. his mind is sowhere else.' It was hard to guess but still, Jennifer stopped ahead and walked towards him, "Javier.. welco back.."
Her words seed to bring him out of his daze.
Yet, he wasn't completely conscious yet let Jennifer take his coat out and keeping them in the closer, similar to any other wife chores
But his silence made her worried, "Javier? Is everything okay? You don't look good."
"Yeah.. I'm.. good."
"But your face is saying any other tale, so is your voice and body language too. Javier.." with this, she made him sit on the bed and she herself sat on her knees.
Bending herself on the floor, she lifts her eyes to look at his lowered eyelids to see that his sentints weren't stable either.
"Is there anything you would like to discuss? Any work-related issues? Or so personal matter?"
"Personal matter.." was all that Javier ntioned, not giving her any benefiting reply.
This forced her into another world, where she wasn't able to understand a single thing from his words, neither from his eyes.
All she can evidently see was his diverged mind where his eyes looked totally lost in so other rundown world.
'He.. is holding sothing. But what? What can just happen? Is there anything that rose at work?' Jennifer was curious but more than that, she was feeling her heart beating at a loud pace while witnessing his furrowed forehead.
But out of blue, Javier held Jennifer's hand into his, when he asked her eagerly, "Jennifer.. I have sothing to ask."
"Go ahead without any hesitation." She answered with assurance.
"If.. If.. you love soone dearly and you know any truth that can almost make them.. lose their mind or hurt them deeply, will you go ahead and speak the truth or keep them in dark?"
His question held so power, Jennifer can sense the sa.
It was evident that this was related to his personal issues and her answer can either make him sourer or shall she ease his mind now?
Giving it a thought, she replied with a sweet smile, "That depends what power does the truth holds… and also, to whom is it revealed. We don't know how much... damage it might cause."
"A lot." A short reply from his side.
"But keeping the other person in dark isn't good either. Probably now you can try and not tell him or her, but what if, in nearby future, that secret cos out and the other person is double or triple hurt, in comparison to what he must have gone through when you told the other party sooner."
At this point, Javier knew that her advice is right.
Keeping in dark wasn't a good way too but how was he supposed to say that...his ex-girlfriend who is currently married to soone else and has a child, is going to turn their life upside down?
"B-" Javier wasn't able to speak another when there were loud knocks on the door with butler's constant yellings.
"Young master!!! Please open the door."
Giving each other a strange look, companied with confusion, Javier rushed to open the door to see that the butler was almost out of breath.
"What happened now?"
"Co… down.. First young Master.. is back.. but.. he..
...
