Just when Jennifer heard that, she pulled her hand back imdiately, glaring at Javier with her wide eyes.

Her entire face started to swell, with her heart beating at an unsteady rate. Her actions were not surprising for Javier but Ellen and Ryan were quite tensed to see her reaction after hearing.

"Are you crazy?! You want to live with your family?!" Jennifer raised her voice slightly but wasn't able to hide how terrified she looked while imagining living under the sa roof as his family.

To be more specific and accurate, he's ssed up and his complicated family mbers aren't even on good terms with each other!!!!

Javier once again took her hand into his but sohow, she yanked it back before he could have touched it, "Don't! I'm not going to go anywhere! Are you serious? We are living here so well! WE have our privacy and everything..what is the need to get here?"

"Securely and safety." Javier gave a small and crisp answer but that wasn't enough to satisfy Jennifer at all.

She was too negligent to go anywhere from this apartnt, less his family villa.

"Javier, understand that more than security, I don't wish to be tagged with your family in any way! I have built such a good relationship with you but with your family..living under one roof is too much! Don't know that Lucas is their enemy?!?!"

Jennifer was nearly shocked. Her voice and expressions told the sa story and Javier understood that she will have a hard ti, 'Oh God, help with this..' the girl has too much dramatic and choosy nature yet he has to tolerate her along with this.

Instead of answering her, he gave Ryan and Ellen a look. Understanding and communicating through their eyes, Ellen spoke first, "We will be downstairs. Inform us whatever you want and decide."

"Alright," Javier answered back and both the man left, closing the door of the apartnt tightly.

At this ti, Jennifer was already fuming in anger.

Never did she think that sothing like this will unrevealed and these so-called twists and turns will make her living with her kidnapper so hard.

"Jennifer…" he called her na sweetly, making her tensed face look in his direction. "I know that you are very worried about what will happen but trust , things aren't that bad as you think. I will talk with my parents and get you a separate room. If you don't like talking to soone, stay in that room itself.."

"But Javier, your family will definitely not like . They are gonna treat like an animal, just like Lucas! I'm his fiance in the eyes of the entire world. Only you know how much hatred I have for him and what are my plans. Your Family..will simply see as the hostage and the bride of that bastard! Their hatred attitude is sothing that I'm pretty much sure will not be able to accept.."

Jennifer straightforwardly said whatever she felt in her heartfelt. Being fully honest and expressing her discomfort was the primary motive in her accordance.

Even Javier wasn't either shocked. Sohow he had expected that out of her, but still, things were not in his control this ti, "Just for so ti, please Jennifer? Understand at if I knew sothing as his will arise, I would have made arrangents but...it is too sudden and I do feel that for so ti, we should shift here because of security purpose.."

Jennifer still passed him a disapproving look. Changing the direction of her eyes to sowhere else, she ignored his face. After seeing her so adamant, he knew that normal tactics won't work for her at all.

A sigh escaped his mouth. 'Look like I will have to show her what I have…'

He stood up on his toes and walked near the dining table. From there, he carried his iPad and passed her, "See, the locations of the people."

Jennifer wasn't able to figure it out so easily but still, she looked through the map that he provided. The iPad displayed a big screen, where the entire map of the state was shown.

Within it, so places were marked with red and sowhere green. "What is this?"

"This shows that how many people are there in our state who are in contact with Lucas. These places are where the people are of his are living and supplying our information to him, while residing under our rules and regulations. Do you understand what that ans?" Javier didn't beat around the bush anymore and asked straight forward.

With respect to this, Jennifer nodded her head when she replied, "I know... This ans that people...if they knew that I'm living in this apartnt, then they will inform Lucas and I will be traced very soon. Sohow they will co after and ask to co back to Lucas, through route the route which he will make my escape from your clutches, right?"

Jennifer's analyses made him quite shocked but he too shook his head in return.

She has an absolute correct because Lucas is behind her as if his life is dependent on her. Javier wasn't able to figure it out until now what are the reasons for the obsession for Lucas with her.

Definitely, not for money or beauty but sothing bigger than it.

"So..now you can see with your pretty eyes that we have many people to trace us. If we are weak and let our guards be done, Lucas will attack as he is already fuming in anger and his ego has tampered too.

Processing the entire situation in her mind with calm exposure as impulsiveness will not bring it any good.

'I have to make sure that I don't return to Lucas so that at first, I can be free from this marriage…. So.. this staying with his family will sohow not be that wrong.. at least it will safeguard ....' she firmly believed the sa and in end, lifted her eyes.

Handing the Ipad back to Javier, she spoke in the calst tone that Javier ever heard.

"Alright. I'm ready to go and live with your family for so ti until the ss is cleared..."
