"They may look cute, but don’t let that fool you. The beastkin nobles are sharp, proud, and dangerous. Especially the royal family, they don’t like outsiders getting too close especially humans,"
"But they’re friendly to humans?" Mira asked, tilting her head feeling sowhat confused.

As far as she knows they don’t generally attack humans and she have even worked with few beast race people in the past who were aloof and there wasn’t much chatting.
Thus, aside from that, she doesn’t know much.
"Well they are friendly, not stupid," Serene replied.

"They won’t attack us outright, but don’t expect a warm welco either. We’ll need a valid reason to enter their sacred grounds, especially sothing like an ancient temple," Serene gave a detailed explanation which was valid.

However it does make sense, maybe those who couldn’t return were simply too weak.
Just because 90% people dies doesn’t an anyone will die.
"Well then, let’s do it," Eva said.
"We will prepare supplies today and head out tomorrow,"
"Are we taking the carriage?" Mira asked.
"Nope. We’re going on foot once we reach their borders. Carriage will just slow us down," Zara said, already pulling out a list for provisions.
"Ugh... walking again," Mira groaned after all, she can simply fly.

"Umm, mother are you sure this place sounds dangerous," Selene and Selena asked.
They were little afraid, and who knows when soone might die.
"It’s okey, once we visit there our life will be in their hands... Also, didn’t you said you wanted to be stronger too, so, it’s perfect ti," Serene said to her daughters.
"Yes... But the whispering forest, our magic teacher have told that this place is very dangerous and so many powerful monsters are there," Selene said.
"Yeah, it is said even vampires are there in the forest, who are blood hungry and there are even cyclops," Selena said.
Their magic teacher have once good them about how she had encountered cyclops and vampire in this forest and was badly injured.
Even as an arch-mage she was helpless, but luckily she have cane with few powerful people so, they managed to escape.
Their words were heard by others too.
"Vampires and cyclops? I heard cyclops have powerful magic control and vampires can’t die unless you kill them with weapon made out of silver that is enchated by the glory of light," Zara said.
"But we didn’t have weapon made out of silver that is enchanted..."
A silence fell among the group.
Maybe it was a better idea not to visit such a place.
Vampires and cyclops are strong race and without ans to kill then it’s better not to visit them.
"It’s okay, I can kill them..." Alan seeing the silence spoke.
He really wanted to visit the beast county to full the main Quest.
"Are you sure?" Serene asked.
"Of course..." Alan responded.
He can’t kill a soulless puppet but he can undoubtedly kill a vampire.
And it might also be perfect ground for him to test his true powers.
"Besides," Alan continued, "If there are that many monsters, maybe the artifact hidden inside the temple is worth the risk,"
His words seed to bring a strange calm to the party.
Mira let out a small sigh of relief. "Well, if you’re confident, I guess I’ll just burn anything that looks scary,"
"You an like you almost burned my dress last ti?" Zara scoffed, arms crossed.
"That sli monster was clinging to you like a pervert! I panicked!" Mira shot back.
Selene and Selena laughed quietly.
"Ok, ok, then let’s visit the nearby place and purchase the necessary equipnts, we need to move early morning,"
