The Goblin King let out a guttural roar, raising his massive trident.

And then they charged even more furiously.

He could see everything, every goblin's movent, every angle of attack, every opening in their battle formation.

Alan ducked, twisting his body, and slashed upward.

Blood sprayed as he cleaved it in two.
But soon the body turned golden and vanished.

His sword pierced one goblin's throat before he spun and severed the other's leg.

He stomped forward, swinging his trident with imnse force.

Alan barely managed to dodge, the shockwave of the attack sending dust flying.

The Goblin King was on a completely different level than the others.

He thrust his sword forward, aiming for the King's exposed back.

The King screeched, turning violently to swipe at Alan.
But Alan was already gone.
His Instant Reflex skill let him move before his mind could even register the attack.
He wasn't fighting with thought anymore.
He was fighting on instinct.

The Goblin King tried to defend, but it was too slow.
Alan was faster.
Despite not learning a fighting technique, Alan gas superior stats.

The massive bitch froze, its body trembling.

BOOOOOM!
It exploded into golden light.

Alan stood there, panting, his sword still raised.
He won.
He really won.
The cave was silent, save for the flickering torches on the walls.

Then,

"Wow, that was so cool!" Tia cheered.
"Hmph, took you long enough," Zara muttered, crossing her arms.
"That was impressive, Hero," Mira said with a small smile.
"Y-You're really strong," Lina stamred, still wide-eyed.
Eva nodded approvingly. "You have talent, but you need training."
Alan let out a breath and chuckled.
This was only the first floor.
And yet,
He felt like he was just getting started.
