The Blood Pond of God was underground. They walked downstairs after they went into the gate. The passage was a spacious one, allowing up to 10 people to walk side by side. The entire passage was a long spiral staircase, leading to underground.
They were very fast but they had been walking for the ti for three incense sticks to burn. By that calculation, the Blood Pond of God was way underneath the ground.
Finally, they stopped and stood in front of a huge black stone gate. Lu Fenghuo activated so gears and they walked into a majestic and forbidding hall.
The hall had a diater of more than 3000 feet, very spacious and it was well-lit. Lu Li saw a huge blood-red pond right in front of him.
The pond was built by a kind of spar, dark-red in color. Its length and width were both at about 100 feet and it was about six and a half feet tall. The dark-red spars had so kind of mysterious patterns and runes on them, and the spars were flickering in dark red light.
Lu Li stared at the mysterious patterns. He seed to be able to see a face of a ghost. Those patterns appeared to have ford a picture of angry King Kong, making people terrified and afraid to get closer.
“Um? There is a cold breeze?”
Lu Li suddenly felt so cold air co from the other side. He looked over and saw a closed stone gate covered in ice. The cold ice should have co from there.
“Can it be another place of treasure of the Lu Family?”
Lu Li turned back soon. There were so other gates in the hall. They should be leading to other places of treasure in the Lu Family.

Patriarch Eight said to Lu Li and the forr walked over to the blood pond. Lu Fenghuo, Lu Liantian and the other Patriarchs were there, waiting.
Lu Li walked over. He threw a look into the pond, feeling shocked.
The blood in there was dark red in color and it was tumbling. There was so kind of power from inside, making people feel agitated. It felt more like venom than blood.
There was sothing more—when the blood moved, it also ford a pattern of a King Kong with angry glares. It looked very ferocious. Lu Li felt that if sobody were to jump in, the King Kong would devour that person.
“Lu Li, get in there. As long as you are really a disciple of the Lu Family, you should be fine.” Patriarch Eight had such a kind appearance that he looked like a goody-goody old man.
The other patriarchs all stood by the blood pond, looking at Lu Li. Lu Li handed over Little White which was still asleep to Patriarch Eight gently and walked towards the blood pond slowly after so thoughts.
Patriarch Eight threw so casual glances to Little White and didn’t think too much. He thought it was just a normal pet. Seeing that Lu Li was about to jump in directly, Patriarch Eight reminded him, “Lu Li, take off your clothes.”
Lu Li didn’t. He had the dragon mark on his back that he didn’t want to show. He shook his head and jumped into the blood pond.

Blood spilled up but not out from the pond. The pond was about six and a half feet tall so Lu Li sank into it, as if he had been devoured by the angry King Kong.
All the patriarchs stared at the pond but nobody used their psychic power. The blood in the pond would render psychic power inefficient.
“Nothing?”
The blood pond cald down after the ti for several breaths. Blood was only tumbling slightly and the King Kong face re-erged, but nothing else happened.
“Impostor!”

He wondered… if there was sothing wrong with the blood pond or he was not a disciple of the Lu Family.
The ti for half an incense stick to burn passed. Still, there was nothing. Lu Fenghuo and Lu Liantian could not wait any longer. Lu Liantian waved his hand and said, “Tianhe, get Lu Li out of there.”
Patriarch Eight didn’t disagree this ti. Patriarch Ten, Lu Tianhe took out a whip from his Interspatial Ring, reached out to the blood pond and was ready to pull Lu Li in.
“Buzzing~”
Right at that mont, the silver dragon mark on Lu Li’s back glared. The dragon pattern moved and swam about and then the entire blood pond tumbled. Every drop of blood was tumbling over.
“Um? There is sothing. Tianhe, stop.”
Patriarch Eight shouted in surprise. Patriarch Ten paused for a mont but in the end, he did get his whip back. All the patriarchs were looking at the blood pond. They frowned when they saw the dark red blood tumble around.
How co when Lu Li first go in, nothing happened? Why did it take such a long ti for the blood to have so reaction? This never occurred before.

Blood was tumbling over and over, like boiled water. Patriarch Eight was relieved and he smiled. Only disciples of the Lu Family could absorb the blood essence in the blood pond, which was sothing Lu Li was doing right now. It could prove that Lu Li really was a disciple of the Lu Family.
With the blood tumbling, its color started changing as well. The dark red color turned into light red.

There ca a muffled cry of pain from the pond. Patriarch Eight shouted right away, “Lu Li, don’t be afraid. You will sense so pain when you absorb the blood. It is the blood essence refining your body and your own blood. This is good for you. Hold on.”
