Taiji represents Chaos, and Chaos evolves into Yin and Yang.
Yin and Yang are opposing yet unified forces, an innate attribute possessed by all living beings. Nezha, with the assistance of Yin Yang Qi, found cultivation relatively effortless. As for the Fire Elent, it’s even easier—Nezha was already well-acquainted with the finest flas of the Primordial era.
As for tal, Wood, Water, and Earth, Nezha would need to train gradually. With each additional color added to the Seven-colored Divine Light, the difficulty exponentially increased. Truly, it lived up to the reputation of a Great Divine Power.
After erging from his retreat, Nezha bid farewell to Lishan Old Mother. He didn’t return to the battles between the Shang and Zhou armies to watch the drama unfold. With combat growing increasingly grueso, and daily scenes of death and severed limbs flying everywhere, there was no longer much to see.
His destination this ti was Ei Mountain. He had once promised Chiyou to discipline his mount, the Iron-Eating Beast, and it was about ti to resolve this matter.
Recently, with the River Map and Luo Book in hand, Nezha perford a quick calculation and discovered that the Iron-Eating Beast was indeed on Ei. As for why? Most likely due to Ei Mountain’s famous bitter bamboo and bamboo shoots.
In the Primordial era, Ei Mountain was a first-class Pocket World, comparable in status to Lishan.
Just as he arrived outside Ei Mountain, he found himself enveloped in violet aura from Outer Heaven. An elder riding a Green Bull leisurely broke through the sky and descended before him.
Nezha: "???"
Sotis, he felt like so kind of protagonist triggering hidden quests. However, he didn’t dare to be complacent; instead, he paid his respects with utmost reverence, bowing deeply and saying, "Disciple Li Nezha under Lady Nuwa greets Saint Taiqing, honored uncle!"
The Green Bull slowly stopped in front of Nezha, snorting from its nostrils as if to greet him. Sitting upon the beast, Saint Taiqing spoke in a calm voice, "Rise."
Nezha saw the Green Bull lift its head and imdiately understood its intent. Secretly giving a ntal thumbs-up to Ah Niu, he thought to himself, *That Taisu Heaven grass wasn’t given in vain.*
Leading the bull by its reins, Nezha entered deeper into Ei Mountain.
Saint Taiqing surveyed the scenery with half-closed eyes and casually remarked, "I have so karmic connection to this place. Thus, I am here to leave behind a lineage."
Everything a Saint did carried profound significance. As he led the bull, Nezha silently pondered every word related to the Human Sect’s lineage and Ei Mountain, while dutifully following orders.
During their journey, they engaged in sporadic ’idle chatter,’ mostly questions from Saint Taiqing that Nezha would answer. Through these exchanges, Nezha gained deeper insights into the Yin Yang Dao.
Unknowingly, Nezha had already led the bull to the highest peak of Ei Mountain.
Saint Taiqing gazed into the distance with a faint smile, nodding in satisfaction before reaching into his sleeve. He produced a verdant talisman and cast it toward the mountain summit. The talisman floated gently to the center of the peak, imdiately forming an enormous Array with the talisman as its Array Eye, enveloping the entire mountaintop in its folds.
Intrigued, Nezha couldn’t resist examining the formation for a mont longer. However, this resulted in sudden dizziness and disorientation—apparently, a Saint’s creation was still far too profound for him. To learn this, he’d have to take it one step at a ti.
Along the way, Nezha’s understanding of the situation gradually deepened.
He promptly perford a formal salute, saying, "Honored uncle, you have established a lineage here. Though this junior’s cultivation is still lacking, I would like to express my humble support."
Subsequently, Nezha opened up a small pocket space at the rear of the mountain and deposited two flas within: the Golden Crow’s Great Sun Golden Fla and the Phoenix Clan’s South Ming Li Fire.
Saint Taiqing slightly nodded, and with a wave of his hand, the two fire sparks were imdiately absorbed into the Two Forms Microdust Array for nurturing and cultivation. What they might evolve into afterward, even Nezha, who had left them there, couldn’t predict.
"Bull, guard this place and wait for soone who has a predestined connection," Taiqing instructed casually before vanishing into thin air.
As soon as Saint Taiqing left, Nezha finally exhaled in relief. Staying near such a powerhouse was indeed too stressful!
The Green Bull shook its body, emitting pure Taiqing Mana, and promptly transford into a green-skinned Minotaur.
"Brother Niu!" Nezha called out.
"Ah, don’t be so formal. We’re not strangers!"
"Brother Niu, you know that I am deeply interested in formations. Would it be alright if I studied them a little...?"
As Nezha spoke, his gaze darted toward the Two Forms Microdust Array while his hands held a small bundle containing Pangu Realm’s grass and Taisu Heaven’s sugar tangerine.
The Green Bull opened the bundle, inhaling its contents deeply through its nose, and sighed in bliss.
Pangu Realm’s grass contained subtle yet extraordinary substances, an unparalleled treasure among grasses. Taisu Heaven’s sugar tangerine bore a hint of Lady Nuwa’s Creation Power, carrying a flavor that was truly otherworldly.
The Green Bull, despite its wisdom, could not resist the allure of Nezha’s offerings.
"Fine, fine! We’re family. As long as you don’t take anything away, feel free to look!"
With those words, the bull took a relaxed posture on a nearby rock and happily began munching on the tangerines.
Nezha didn’t hesitate; he imdiately began exploring the renowned Primordial Array, the Two Forms Qingwei Formation. This rare opportunity significantly enhanced his understanding of the Yin Yang Dao. Though he couldn’t pursue the Dao deeply due to Saint Taiqing already mastering it, it would greatly aid his cultivation of the black-and-white divine light.
While studying the formation, Nezha wandered around the area searching for the Iron-Eating Beast, but instead of finding his target, he encountered an old acquaintance, Zhao Gongming.
At Ei Mountain’s Luo Fu Cave, Zhao Gongming resided, although he spent most of his ti at the East Sea Three Immortal Islands due to his sisterly attachnts. His disciples primarily managed the cave in his absence.
This ti, however, Zhao Gongming was compelled to stay at Luo Fu Cave. His sister Yunxiao couldn’t bear to see him lazing around, indulging in pleasure while neglecting cultivation. She had even issued a strict command: unless he cut a corpse, he wouldn’t be allowed back to the Three Immortal Islands.
This put Zhao Gongming in a difficult spot. At his level of cultivation, being stuck for tens of thousands of years was fairly common, let alone successfully cutting a corpse. Not seeing his sisters for so long—how could he endure that?
But he couldn’t disobey his elder sister. To hasten his breakthrough, he left the East Sea and ca to the tranquil Ei Mountain to cultivate with the hope of swiftly cutting a corpse.
Did he succeed? Not quite—confused and at a loss, Zhao Gongming couldn’t figure out how to properly use his pearl and ruler.
"Brother, what brings you to Ei?"
At Luo Fu Cave, Zhao Gongming set up a banquet, sitting face-to-face with Nezha.
"I ca here to fulfill a promise to a friend, disciplining soone for him. However, after being here for quite so ti, I’ve yet to find that individual."
"Who? I’m very familiar with the area around Ei Mountain," Zhao Gongming said.
"It’s Chiyou’s forr mount, the Iron-Eating Beast."
With a nod, Zhao Gongming gestured for them to continue drinking, saying, "Leave this to ." He then ordered his disciples, Chen Jiugong and Yao Shaosi, to search the area for signs of the Iron-Eating Beast.
While they drank, Zhao Gongming couldn’t stop talking about his sisters—how his eldest sister was gentle, cultured, and elegant, while his younger sisters were quirky, intelligent, and adorable. Occasionally, he even recounted amusing childhood stories shared among the siblings.
Listening to Zhao Gongming’s anecdotes, Nezha found himself equally entertained. He hadn’t expected Fairy Yunxiao to have such a lively and impulsive side in her youth.
Nezha also made sure to ntion the Human Sect’s lineage at the peak of Ei Mountain, requesting Zhao Gongming to give it so special attention.
After so drinks, Zhao Gongming’s disciples proved highly efficient. They managed to gather so clues about the Iron-Eating Beast, though they couldn’t confirm whether it was Chiyou’s mount.
Taking his leave, Nezha followed their directions and finally located the Iron-Eating Beasts’ lair.
Looking at the black-and-white, chubby Iron-Eating Beasts, Nezha was filled with confusion.
*So it really is a panda?* he thought.
Chiyou, selecting this creature as your mount... Should I call it excellent taste or poor judgnt?
Concealing his presence, Nezha ventured deeper inside. At the very back, he discovered a massive Iron-Eating Beast towering close to three ters tall, wearing a wide-brimd hat and reclining lazily as it basked in the sun. Beside it lay a wooden staff of strange material, with a bright green wine jug tied to one end.
