Then, he dispatched a three-thousand-strong Asura Army led by Ma Shou Asura.

Ma Shou Asura’s cultivation was higher than that of the brothers Jin Chuang and Jin Mu—he had already reached the Golden Immortal Realm.

After a three-month truce, Ma Shou Asura led his troops to the battlefield. Upon initiating the attack, Huang Long was directly intercepted and single-handedly marked by Ma Shou.

Yang Jian, with his recently regenerated arm still carrying weaknesses, simply couldn’t rely on his Eight-Nine Profound Skills to resist two Asuras who had slaughtered their way through corpses and a Blood Sea. Otherwise, if he lost his arm again, he wasn’t sure if Hao Tian would still have the face to go begging Lord Lao for another Golden Core on his behalf.

The situation for Western Zhou was dangerously precarious—a potential backlash of waning Qi Fortune.

At this critical mont, Huang Long stepped up. Starting from fighting Ma Shou alone, to being overpowered by Ma Shou and Jin Chuang...

...and then to being violently beaten by Ma Shou, Jin Chuang, and Jin Mu together.

This allowed Yang Jian to break free and focus his energy on intercepting the Asura captains.

In the end, through sheer endurance, they managed to repel the Shang Army’s offensive.

Back in camp, Ji Fa was not idle either—he forcefully conscripted another army and sent them to the front lines.

Western Zhou relied on the steadfast Huang Long taking a beating every day, warding off the Asuras. Remarkably, they managed to withstand the attacks, though the cost left Huang Long severely battered.

Day after day, Huang Long faced the three Asuras, taking relentless beatings until his face was bruised and swollen—a truly pitiful sight.

anwhile, Yang Jian and other Chan Sect disciples launched strikes to interfere with the remaining Asuras.

For any other Immortal, encountering such a scenario would’ve been reason enough to flee, but Huang Long was a dutiful dragon. He believed that his master’s command to ensure the Rise of Zhou and Fall of Shang was paramount, and given that the plea for help ca from his junior disciple...

...he stubbornly endured the beatings and refused to retreat—relying on sheer resilience to hold his ground.

This left Jiang Ziya deeply moved to tears.

"Senior Brother Huang Long!

My Superman, you must hold on!"

The Zhou Army, spared from directly facing the Asuras and buoyed by successfully resisting the Shang Army, finally began to regain so morale.

On the other side, Shen Gongbao watched Huang Long endure daily beatings yet remain unscathed. The next day, Huang Long would always return to the battlefield lively and vigorous, which left Shen Gongbao increasingly anxious, fearing that Western Zhou might recover its strength.

His eyes glead with malicious intent as he reached out to Bodhisattva Bosun.

After a round of flattery, he sneakily hinted, "The new batch of Asuras you sent isn’t up to par, huh? Master Huang Long is pounding them three-on-one, and they’re still yelping pitifully!"

Bosun, who paid little attention to the developnts on this front and was uninford, found his arrogant ego as the self-proclaid Asura King provoked after being belittled by a re Earth Immortal. His temper flared instantly:

"Deploy more troops! Continue deploying troops!"

Asuras, viewing this field assignnt as a prize, were more than eager to go. After all, where else could they find a better challenge outside the comforts of the Blood Sea?

Huang Long endured another three months of relentless beatings—serious injuries avoided, but minor ones constant. Though haggard, he continued to stand firm.

Master Huang Long truly held the line!

This ti, however, four Golden Immortal-level Asuras arrived. Huang Long was imdiately surrounded and gang-kicked by these four six-ard brutes, almost getting devoured by these ferocious warriors.

Still, thanks to Huang Long’s fortitude, Western Zhou finally awaited the arrival of reinforcents.

First to appear were Yun Zhongzi and Taiyi. Yun Zhongzi had returned from his journey to the Blood Sea not only unscathed but having assisted Nezha with precision tasks, earning himself a substantial wave of rit.

Initially reluctant to get involved, Yun Zhongzi was ultimately dragged along by an anxious Taiyi, driven by fervent concern for his disciple.

So, they ca, only to witness Huang Long being beaten up upon arrival.

One Asura bared his fangs and relentlessly pounded on Huang Long, while another used two sharp tusks to gnaw at Huang Long’s claws—whether out of hunger or so peculiar fetish, no one knew.

Yun Zhongzi and Taiyi exchanged glances and instantly joined the fray. Taiyi unleashed his Nine Dragon Divine Fire Shield, trapping several Asura leaders within its flas.

"Brother Huang Long, you’re still holding on, right?"

With his Golden Immortal mana wielding the power of the Divine Fire Cover, Taiyi incinerated each Asura leader in re monts.

Yun Zhongzi brought out his Water Flower Basket to disarm the Asuras of their magical artifacts.

With the Asuras stripped of their artifacts, the pressure on Huang Long imdiately lessened.

The dragon’s head emitted resounding roars, and though he was still getting beaten, he managed to bite back at the Asuras amidst the chaos.

See? Huang Long really could hold his ground.

The two reinforcents concealed themselves as they road the battlefield, picking off weaker Asura Soldiers, thus easing the Zhou Army’s defensive burden.

In a conventional army, losing a commander would often lead to panic and collapse due to lack of leadership and morale.

But the Asuras were different. "I’ve hated that dead bastard for a long ti anyway! Now that he’s gone, it’s my turn to rise!"

They grew even more ferocious in their siege efforts.

Yun Zhongzi and Taiyi secretly targeted the higher-cultivation Asuras while deliberately avoiding ordinary soldiers. After all, ddling with mortal affairs and entangling oneself in karmic cause and effect was the last thing any Immortal wished to do.

Yang Jian, harboring guilt toward his master, nevertheless possessed enough wit to know he needed to exert himself fully without incurring unnecessary trouble.

If there had been any lingering restraint among the factions before, the involvent of the Asuras extinguished it entirely. The Zhou and Shang armies descended into all-out bloodshed, with countless soldiers dying tragic deaths.

In the eyes of the Asuras, however, be it Shang or Zhou forces, all were re flesh and blood, indistinguishable from one another.

The anguish of the wounded and the resentnt of the fallen soldiers surged into the heavens. Human wrath gave rise to chaos incarnate, and the tribulation energy that filled the skies grew exponentially more intense.

The clearest sign of this was the growing frenzy among the Asuras—an unrelenting terror for mortals and an eternal nightmare.

Not long after, three of the Twelve Golden Immortals of the Chan Sect—Ci Hang, Manjusri, and Puxian—arrived on the scene.

Ci Hang, embodying compassion, witnessed the carnage and, for the first ti, wore an expression of palpable anger.

That night, the brothers-in-arms held council. "Junior Brother Huang Long, it’s still up to you!"

The valiant dragon prepared for another 1v5 clash. Though beaten into wails of pain again, with the reinforcent of his senior brothers, he faced the battle with newfound confidence.

In truth, the trio of Ci Hang, Manjusri, and Puxian were undoubtedly capable. In the original tiline, the three of them had even managed to hold their own against Jin Ling Saint Mother for a ti.

Within the Chan Sect, the three ford a cohesive team led by Ci Hang. Together, they created a Three Talents Formation.

The formation itself wasn’t particularly intricate, but its strength lay in its participants: one Daluo Golden Immortal and two Taiyi Golden Immortals.

They swiftly trapped one of the Asuras inside, while Yun Zhongzi and Taiyi launched coordinated attacks.

The other four Asuras, however, were utterly unfazed by the loss of their comrade and continued ruthlessly assaulting Huang Long.

Within the formation, the captured Asura roared in outrage, only to face the righteous combined beating from the Chan Sect Immortals.

At last, Taiyi’s Nine Dragon Divine Fire Shield enveloped the target. With the collective power of five infused with Yuqing mana, nine Divine Fire Dragons surged forth, reducing the Asura to re ashes.

After another prolonged struggle, Huang Long, though initially injured, remained injured—resulting in a net-zero loss.

However, four Golden Immortal-level Asuras still remained on the opposing side.

Western Zhou cheered for a great victory!

On the Shang side, the constant havoc wreaked by the Asuras made victory or defeat increasingly irrelevant to them—they had been ravaged beyond recognition by their so-called "allies."

As for the Asuras, despite losing one Golden Immortal leader, they didn’t consider it a defeat at all.

"But we pounded Huang Long, didn’t we?!"

Fewer n?

Fewer n just ans more blood food for us to divide!"

The very next day, without a shred of hesitation, the four blood-fed, Golden Immortal-level Asuras charged forward with reckless enthusiasm.

The Zhou Army resorted to their tried-and-true strategy: sending forth the ever-undefeated Huang Long.

Whatever the state of Huang Long, you’ve got to admit—the tactic works, doesn’t it?

The fearless Huang Long once again advanced to confront the four Asuras, bracing himself for another round of relentless beatings.
