Lin Xiaoyan looked at He Qi’an’s nervous expression and laughed, "I know."
He Qi’an breathed a sigh of relief, then glared at Jing Yi.
Jing Yi had never seen He Qi’an like this and found it astonishing.
The dishes were served one after another, and the three chatted and ate, feeling quite familiar with each other, having a great conversation.
After the al, He Qi’an took Lin Xiaoyan back to the hotel.
"I’ll walk you up," He Qi’an said, holding Lin Xiaoyan’s hand.
"No need, Sister Nan is upstairs. I’ll just take the elevator up."
He Qi’an looked at his girlfriend reluctantly, "I’ll go up with you then!"
Lin Xiaoyan saw He Qi’an’s expression and knew what he was thinking, firmly opposing, "I’ll go up by myself!"

Lin Xiaoyan looked at He Qi’an speechlessly.
"We really won’t see each other tonight; I’ll see you tomorrow. How am I supposed to get through the night missing you?"
"Or you could co ho with and stay at my place?"
Lin Xiaoyan glared at He Qi’an, "Dream on!"
Twenty minutes later, Lin Xiaoyan gave He Qi’an a fierce look, then dashed out of the car as if escaping.
"Don’t run, walk slowly, be careful not to fall." He Qi’an stuck his head out of the car window, loudly reminding her.
Lin Xiaoyan shouted without turning back, "Got it."
He Qi’an watched his girlfriend’s back, grinning, "Ouch..."
He touched his bitten lip and laughed, "Such sharp little claws!"
Lin Xiaoyan walked into the hotel and stood in front of the elevator waiting, patting her flushed cheeks with a shy smile on her face.
"Let’s rest tonight, then go to the company tomorrow. If tomorrow goes well, we can return the day after."
The elevator arrived, and Lin Xiaoyan was the first to walk in, followed by a man and a woman.
Lin Xiaoyan moved to the corner, looking up to see the newcors, who seed to be colleagues.
Because she heard the man talking about the company but his eyes were fervently fixed on the other girl...
Lin Xiaoyan glanced at the girl with her head down, noticing she was quite pretty. The girl seed aware of the man’s encroachnt and was quietly retreating.
Suddenly, the girl accidentally stepped on Lin Xiaoyan’s foot, promptly turning to apologize.
Lin Xiaoyan expressionlessly stepped back, saying, "It’s okay."
"Ding"
"Xiaoqing, the elevator is here." Wang He saw the elevator door open and reached to pull the girl.
The girl frowned, dodging, and sidestepped out of the elevator.
Lin Xiaoyan stood in the elevator, watching their disappearing figures, her gaze darkening.
As the elevator closed again, Lin Xiaoyan took a deep breath; she had just "seen" what would happen to that girl.
Walking out of the elevator, Lin Xiaoyan imdiately called He Qi’an.
He Qi’an was still downstairs, not having left yet. He was waiting for Lin Xiaoyan to text him after reaching her room before he left.
Seeing his girlfriend’s call, He Qi’an answered with a smile, "Reached your room?"
Lin Xiaoyan: "Not yet, just about there. I just ran into a girl."
Hearing his girlfriend’s words, He Qi’an imdiately understood.
"Wait for , I’ll co up now."
"Okay."
Lin Xiaoyan stood at the room door, waiting for He Qi’an to co up. Her face was solemn as she recalled the scenes she had just "seen."
"Ding"
The elevator quickly arrived, and He Qi’an stepped out, seeing Lin Xiaoyan in the hallway.
He walked over quickly, his face serious, "What happened?"
Lin Xiaoyan took out her room card and opened the door, and the two of them walked in.
Nan Xi saw the two return and stood up, "You’re back."
"Yeah, Sister Nan have you eaten?
I packed sothing new from the Four Directions Restaurant for you, it’s quite tasty."
Lin Xiaoyan handed the food box to Nan Xi, who happily accepted it, "Thank you."

Lin Xiaoyan’s face was cold, "What was most infuriating was that when the girl cried for help, the hotel staff completely ignored it! Also, when the man, shalessly exposed, went to the front desk for a room card, the staff actually gave him one..."
When she saw the scenes of those staff, she was beyond angry.
He Qi’an frowned deeply after hearing this, "The hotel’s staff just casually handed out the room card?"
Lin Xiaoyan: "Yes."
Nan Xi was furious, "Aren’t hotel staff supposed to protect the guests’ privacy? Plus, if there’s danger in their hotel, at the very least they should help call the police!"
"Should we report this?"
Lin Xiaoyan asked He Qi’an.

"Fifth floor."
"Alright, you rest, I’m going down now to keep an eye on it, don’t worry." He Qi’an stood up to go downstairs.
Lin Xiaoyan saw him off at the door, "Be careful, don’t get hurt."
"Don’t worry."
Watching He Qi’an enter the elevator, Lin Xiaoyan then re-entered the room, closing the door.
Nan Xi sighed, "I didn’t expect this hotel’s staff to be so unprofessional!"
Lin Xiaoyan nodded, "Indeed, no one would expect such people! I rember when I used to stay in hotels, if the room card was lost, you had to show ID at the front desk and sign sothing to get a new one..."
"That’s the basic procedure for every hotel!" Nan Xi said.
Lin Xiaoyan sighed, looking at Nan Xi, "Sister Nan, you eat first, I’m going to freshen up."
"Okay, go ahead."
Lin Xiaoyan took her clothes into the bathroom, quickly took a shower, and ca out.
Nan Xi was enjoying the food from Four Directions Restaurant and brightened up after tasting it.
Seeing Lin Xiaoyan co out, Nan Xi smiled, "As expected from Four Directions Restaurant, it’s truly delicious!"
"Isn’t it? I thought it was delicious too!"
Lin Xiaoyan: "I’ve been to the Four Directions Restaurant in Sea City. I thought the food there was great along with the atmosphere. Today, at the Four Directions Restaurant in Beijing, I found out why it’s the headquarters! Not only does it taste better than Sea City’s, but the environnt is even more impressive, like stepping into another era!"
