"Where’s the good food? Co in quickly." Huang Zaijiang pulled him into the small room, calling for Doctor Du as they walked.

Huang Zaijiang asked Doctor Du to quickly check on Wang Le, ntioning he had just eaten bugs outside, claiming they were sea cucumbers.

Doctor Du took out her needles, stuck a few into Wang Le’s head, then a few elsewhere. A few minutes later, Doctor Du removed the needles, and Wang Le imdiately rushed out of the small room and vomited violently by the base of the alley wall.

It seed as if he wanted to vomit his stomach out. Doctor Du explained that she was worried he had eaten sothing unclean and gotten food poisoning, so she induced vomiting.

The more Wang Le vomited, the more violent it beca. Doctor Du, a bit worried, went out to check on him.

A while later, she helped Wang Le back in. Wang Le looked particularly pale; Huang Zaijiang handed him sothing to eat, but he repeatedly shook his head and only drank a few sips of water.

"It’s nothing, seeing what you vomited makes you nauseous again," Doctor Du said.

Being able to clearly see what he vomited indicated his mind had already recovered, and he no longer considered bugs as sea cucumbers for nourishnt.

"What happened?" Wang Le finally spoke after a long pause.

"We should be asking you! Where’s Gu? You two weren’t staying put in the stone house and ca out without leaving any marks, what’s going on?" Huang Zaijiang rattled off a string of questions like a machine gun.

"What situation? We followed you guys to the city center, Professor Chen even told to leave so water and food along the way. Then we t another team who were living it up here with..." Wang Le suddenly stopped mid-sentence, his eyes filled with horror and a bit of confusion, "The food was fake, that person..."

Huang Zaijiang let out a sigh of relief: "Luckily, you didn’t lose your mind."

"That was your hallucination," Mike interjected.

Wang Le’s eyes changed, he stared at us nervously, his eyes wide, carefully examining our faces.

"Doctor Du already gave you acupuncture, so what you’re seeing now isn’t a hallucination," Huang Zaijiang said helplessly.

"Not necessarily, was the acupuncture real?" Wang Le shook his head, "Before, when you guys ca back, I thought that was real too."

"How real? Would hitting you hurt?" Huang Zaijiang said, giving Wang Le’s shoulder two punches.

I saw that he used his finger joints for those punches, which although wouldn’t cause injury, definitely hurt.

"Ouch!" Wang Le covered his shoulder, giving Huang Zaijiang a glare, "This trick doesn’t work. Previously, you also slapped and it hurt my back." As Wang Le said this, he rubbed his back, "It still hurts now."

"Let see? Can hallucinations injure people?" Huang Zaijiang, curious, insisted on pulling up Wang Le’s shirt to check his back for injuries.

To prove he wasn’t lying, Wang Le turned around to show us his back, which indeed proved he wasn’t lying as there was a particularly obvious black handprint on his back.

Huang Zaijiang rubbed the handprint with his finger a couple of tis, Wang Le yelping in pain, indicating it was clearly not painted on. Doctor Du wanted to thoroughly examine Wang Le, worried he might be poisoned.

I imdiately thought of the Xuanming Elders’ Xuanming Divine Palm. Mike also saw the handprint on Wang Le’s back, muttering that it was impossible.

Because he firmly believed that what Wang Le and Gu saw was a hallucination, but how could a hallucination deliver a blow?

"Where’s Gu? Did he do this?" Huang Zaijiang clearly didn’t believe hallucinations could harm people. Mike, hearing him say this, visibly relaxed his tense and confused expression.

"Don’t ntion him, that ungrateful guy. When you guys, um, or the previous you ca to the stone house to get us, he said he needed to go to the bathroom shortly after we left, then just disappeared," Wang Le said, "I was worried he was taken by wolves, searched for him everywhere, but if those previous people were a hallucination, he must have figured it out earlier."

Wang Le complained furiously about Gu’s ’cold and ungrateful’ behavior, "Those hallucinations even invited to dinner. I felt a bit guilty, wanting to save so good food for him in secret."

"Then why’d you end up here? Not staying at the feast enjoying the delicious food?" Huang Zaijiang teased.

"Sigh, they started fighting, the table got flipped, and when I saw all that good food on the floor covered in sand, it was no longer edible, so I quickly saved a plate... ugh~"

"Okay, okay, let’s not ntion the food. You said your hallucinations started fighting?" Huang Zaijiang stroked his chin, thinking it was a very interesting issue worth discussing further.

"Yeah, it seems they divided into two factions and were at odds with each other. The dishes were just served, and before we even started eating, they started arguing... um, wait, strange, why don’t I rember what they said?"
