The Informal Tomb Raiding Diary: She is the occupant of the tomb! Chapter 411 - 314: Leaking Information (Part 3)
"Found it, I even killed the Wolf King. Now the pack’s weak, don’t worry, all that’s left are young pups and the elderly, they won’t attack us again."
Wang Le looked like he’d just heard a hot news story, his eyes lit up, "What? You, you killed the Wolf King?"
"Yeah, so what? I can’t kill the Wolf King? Am I just a reclusive expert with an empty reputation?"
"No, no, that’s not it, well-deserved, well-deserved!" Wang Le quickly gave a thumbs-up.
"About Lilith’s incident last ti, I had my doubts when I heard, but now I believe it." Huang Zaijiang also spoke the truth.
As I returned, I inadvertently started a confession session, with Doctor Du joining in: "Yeah, I didn’t believe it when they said you’d saved Professor Chen several tis and were his golden partner, thought they were exaggerating, but now I believe it."
"Low-key, low-key! I, well, I do have so skills, but not as exaggerated as you all say. You’re too kind."
"I’m tempted to hit you again." Doctor Du smiled at .
She’s the type of cold, stunning beauty that when she smiles like this, it’s not a good sign. I quickly waved my hands to wipe the smug grin off my face.
The atmosphere was just right, but then the person lying down suddenly jumped up and tackled Huang Zaijiang, who was closest to him.
With a howl, he was about to bite down. We were a few steps away, only Little Red was close by. She watched the injured one, blocking his mouth with her hand, offering her arm in place.
Chomp—crack—howl—
A series of sounds and images entered my mind. My brain quickly processed their relationships and reported: the injured one bit Little Red, lost a tooth, and cried out in pain.
Huang Zaijiang escaped from the "brink of a bite," his face in shock. Doctor Du swiftly drew a tranquilizer from her waist pack as the injured one transford before us, fur growing, head deforming, nose and mouth extending.
The legendary werewolf transformation... so la! His tooth fell out biting soone!
My inner monologue shifted with the scene, his transformation complete as Doctor Du’s tranquilizer landed, piercing his neck.
He howled midway then collapsed again. I reckon he’s the weakest werewolf in history, bar none.
Huang Zaijiang broke out in a cold sweat, likely fearing not the bite but the consequences of being bitten.
We all knew the injured one was scratched by soone, with no other injuries or signs of poisoning.
The cause of his transformation, most likely, was that scratch.
If Huang Zaijiang got bitten, he too would turn into a werewolf before long.
Turning into a werewolf is easy, but turning back into a human is hard; otherwise, the previous werewolf would have transford back and pleaded with more convincingly.
Doctor Du’s tranquilizer didn’t keep the werewolf down for long, failing after about ten minutes.
At this rate, even a box of tranquilizers wouldn’t suffice, so we had to tie up the werewolf with ropes.
But the ropes wouldn’t hold him long; unlike the werewolf I t earlier, clear-headed and articulate, this one transford into a beast, without consciousness.
He could break free in five minutes, and there wasn’t a room around that could contain him.
Seeing everyone’s troubled expressions, I couldn’t quite understand them. Just say the word: kill him, yet it circled my lips several tis and remained unspoken.
The main concern was arousing their suspicion; as a ’human,’ I must have so compassion.
Qinghan ultimately made the decision, considering everyone’s safety, the werewolf must be killed.
Mike imdiately opposed, refusing to let us kill the werewolf, insisting on taking him for dical treatnt.
I quietly whispered to Qinghan, "How about letting it die naturally?"
I winked at him, "You know what I an."
Qinghan suddenly hugged and whispered on top of my head, "Leave it to you."
Feeling like a loyal minion, my heart surged with emotion, and I found myself returning his hug for the first ti.
"Hey, hey, hey? What’s the deal? The Ancient City is dangerous enough, and you’re thinking of cornering a surviving dog at the camp?" Wang Le exclaid in displeasure.
"I’m persuading him to be humane. Since we can’t hold him, let’s set him free. When we can return is uncertain, taking him along is unrealistic, so let’s release him." I said with a frown, feigning a heavy heart.
