The Lama of Wisdom held his Buddha Beads, a serene smile hanging on his face, as if all the worldly things were under his control. He slightly raised his head, with a hint of arrogance in his gaze, emitting an aura he considered superior to others.

However, when that finger piercing through the dark clouds appeared, his smile shattered like exquisite glass in an instant.

The finger penetrated the thick cloud layer, slowly extending with an unknown power.

When the finger fell, there was no imagined world-destroying grandiose montum, no earth-shaking tremor, just plain and simple, yet carrying an unstoppable force, slowly pressing down towards the position of the Lama of Wisdom.

The Lama of Wisdom felt the space around him seemingly solidified by an invisible giant hand, becoming unbearably viscous, with every inch of air as if turned into thick glue, binding his actions. His body slightly trembled as he tried to move his steps but found his feet nailed to the ground, unable to budge an inch.

This feeling was exactly the sa as the ti he first faced the old demon of Black Mountain, a strong sense of helplessness surged from the depths of his heart, spreading rapidly throughout his body.

At this mont, he couldn’t help but recall those ants, self-deluded and attempting to rebel against him on ordinary days, a wave of lancholy surged within him. Once, he was high above, regarded those people as worthless, manipulating their destinies at will. Now, the tables had turned, and he himself beca the other side’s insignificant "ant".

Facing this finger falling from the sky, seemingly plain and slow but carrying an endless sense of oppression, the Lama of Wisdom’s eyes were filled with fear and despair, his body involuntarily trembling, legs weakening, almost unable to stand stably. His breath beca rapid and heavy, cold sweat constantly erging from his forehead, sliding down his cheeks.

His inner heart completely collapsed at this mont, all the will to resist like a candle in the wind, extinguished instantly by the strong deterrent force brought by this finger, utterly losing the courage to resist.

Ti seed incredibly long at this mont, each second felt as hard to endure as a year.

The Lama of Wisdom stared at that finger, eyes full of despair, waiting for the judgnt of fate.

A mont passed, Households Commander Zuo and others woke up as if from a long and horrifying nightmare.

They slowly opened their eyes, and what ca into view was the incredibly despaired Lama of Wisdom, now presenting a peculiar state.

In the middle of the Lama of Wisdom’s broad forehead appeared a hole as wide as a finger, strangely no blood flowed out, as if this hole originally existed on his forehead, and his body seed drained of all energy, becoming shriveled and hollow.

The Lama’s body slowly bent, knees hitting the ground, finally prostrating on the surface, as if offering the humblest submission to the owner of this finger.

And those blood drops he brought, originally swaggering, now in an instant seed seized by an invisible giant hand, losing spirit, appearing pale and vacant, lifeless, collapsing to the ground like walking corpses.

"Brother Zuo, bring him up." Xu Qing’s calm and indifferent voice sounded in Households Commander Zuo’s ears, as if traversing the boundaries of space and ti, carrying an undeniable majesty.

Households Commander Zuo trembled all over, finally snapping out of it, he looked around, gazing at the scene of desolation in front, mixed feelings stirring within him.

Under the Blood Bodhi Tree, Households Commander Zuo finally saw Xu Qing.

Xu Qing was still the sa Xu Qing, body still tall, face still handso, so close to him yet the feeling given to Zuo now seed like far up in the clouds, as if coming from another world.

Actually, Households Commander Zuo already knew Xu Qing’s power was at the top in this world, surpassing his ntor, the Palace Master of Lao Mountain Shangqing Palace.

However, those were rely hearsays, until today, witnessing Xu Qing’s seemingly casual yet imnsely powerful finger, he finally got such a direct and profound understanding of Xu Qing’s power.

In Households Commander Zuo’s mory, young Xu Qing was a lad with a fierce heart.

Back then, he never imagined, this boy would one day transform into a True Dragon, soaring in the Nine Heavens above, overlooking the mortal beings.

The encounters in this world are truly wonderful; how could they be explained clearly in just a few words?

Households Commander Zuo secretly felt fortunate that such mighty strength belonged to Xu Gongming. He knew well, had such power fallen on anyone with evil intentions, it would undoubtedly be a disastrous calamity for all living beings, bringing endless pain and destruction.

However, before Households Commander Zuo could recover from shock and sentint, Xu Qing unhesitatingly threw the Lama of Wisdom’s flesh into the blood-open mouth of the Blood Bodhi Tree.

The Blood Bodhi Tree’s branches and leaves instantly danced excitedly, seemingly celebrating the start of this feast.

Watching this scene, Households Commander Zuo couldn’t help but be dumbfounded, mouth wide open, face full of shock and confusion.

...

...

Feeding the Blood Bodhi Tree with the flesh of demons, yielding the Bodhi Tribulation Fruit, this Households Commander Zuo could understand.

In this cultivation world filled with mystery and unknown, many cultivation thods and techniques, though beyond ordinary cognitive perception, are not wholly unacceptable.

Yet, in Households Commander Zuo’s eyes, Lama of Wisdom no matter how wicked, is still "human." Watching Xu Qing throw the Lama’s flesh without hesitation into the blood-open mouth of the Blood Bodhi Tree that seed to devour everything, his heart imdiately churned like stormy waves.
