Chapter 119: You’ve Grown Up
Shi Sui squinted his peach blossom eyes. “Is that so?”
Xiang Yi looked at him innocently until a few seconds later, it finally dawned on her.
She picked up a clean spoon and stirred Shi Sui’s bowl of rice wine and eggs, pushing it toward his hands. “The temperature should be okay now.”
If it had been another man, Xiang Yi would never have done this.
But this was her Zaizai, and she had to take care of him.
Shi Sui smiled vaguely. “You’ve grown up.”
Xiang Yi waited for a mont before responding. Curiously, she asked: “At tis like this, shouldn’t you praise more with statents along the lines of ‘you’re so considerate and understanding’?”
Shi Sui slowly sipped at his rice wine and lazily said, “Evidently, you still don’t understand anything.”
Xiang Yi: ???
Alright, whatever Zaizai says goes.
The girl revealed the smile of a woman who has spoiled her child.
After they finished the rice wine and eggs, Shi Sui voluntarily went off to wash the dishes.
Since it was only two bowls and a health pot, he did not turn on the dishwasher and instead turned on the faucet to rinse them out.
“Oh, right. Senior, I have to go out tomorrow, so I might not make it for the evening stream.” Xiang Yi’s voice traveled through the splashing of running water.
He turned off the faucet and turned around. “Tomato Entertainnt’s Annual Gala?”
“Eh? You know it too?”
“Mhmm. I heard Si Chuanbai ntion it today.”
Tomato Entertainnt was the company the person who had inhabited Xiang Yi’s body had signed with.
It was not of a large scale, but because of their marketing skills, they were quite well known in the circle.
Xiang Yi: “I can prepare you a bento and leave it in the fridge so you can heat it up when you’re hungry. Or I’ll try to co back earlier to cook...”
Suddenly, Xiang Yi paused her speech.
She was only going out for the day, why was she making it seem like she owed him sothing...
Moreover, Zaizai can always order takeout; it’s not like he had to eat her cooking.
She felt slightly embarrassed as she habitually rubbed her eyebrows. The man’s calm and llow voice finally cald her nerves. “I’ll wait for you to co back.”
The warm light dissolved at the top of his head. Away from the cara, he was obviously a sharp and alienated man, yet at this ti, he was as gentle as a husband waiting for his newly-wed wife to co ho.
Xiang Yi’s heartbeat instantly skipped a beat as she held her breath.
With a smirk, he lowered his head and added, “Along with Xiao Naofu, of course.”

Xiang Yi let out a sigh of relief. Before she could tell what was going on with that strange heartbeat, she frantically nodded. “I’m going to bed, goodnight.”
“Good night.”
The two simple words sounded so inexplicably soft coming from his lips.
Xiang Yi increased her pace as she frantically rubbed at her glowing hot ears.
The next day.
After lunch, Xiang Yi began preparing the bentos.
Xiao Naofu’s portion consisted of boiled chicken breast and pumpkin puree.
Shi Sui’s portion was made up of sweet and sour pork ribs, a thick fried egg, and rice balls made from purple rice and pork floss.
She filled Xiao Naofu’s bowl up with cat food and water then went off to greet Shi Sui. “Senior, I’m leaving. Take care of yourself, and take care of Xiao Naofu as well.”
Shi Sui gently replied, “Okay, take care and be safe. Don’t go around drinking so indiscriminately.”
“Of course not...” As soon as the words ca out Xiang Yi rembered the day she had been drunk in Shi Sui’s room...
The girl awkwardly smiled before turning her head rapidly and prattling away.
Once she’d left, all that was left in the living room was a man and a cat.
Xiao Naofu hopped on the sofa as the entire cat’s body collapsed into a pancake. It looked towards Shi Sui with provocative eyes. “ow! ow ow ow!”
—— This is my territory now!
Shi Sui unceremoniously picked up Xiao Naofu and raised his eyebrows, smiling slightly. “There’s nobody here to defend you, who are you trying to fight? Little, cat, ow.”
