The temperature difference was too high; Lin Huai Shu felt the back of his hand was very hot.
But Qiao Lech held his hand and didn’t let go.
Lin Huai Shu said, "Your hand is cold."
"It’s okay." Qiao Lech held his hand, "My face is a bit hot."
Lin Huai Shu smiled, holding her face with both hands, looked at her and said, "Hmm, very red."
Qiao Lech imdiately avoided his gaze.
Lin Huai Shu leaned in and kissed her eyes, "But very pretty."

Lin Huai Shu saw her shy look and smiled again. He left his hand on her face for a mont and let go, worried she might be cold.
Qiao Lech rested for a bit on her seat, then looked out and asked, "Where is this?"
"My dad’s newly built mall." Lin Huai Shu said, "The parking lot just got finished; the upper part will be done next month."
Qiao Lech looked at him.
Lin Huai Shu said, "I wanted to take you to my place, but afraid once you go, you might not want to leave."
There was a shimring layer in Qiao Lech’s eyes, bright and gently flickering.
Lin Huai Shu’s heart involuntarily followed her gaze.
Seeing her face turn redder, he stopped talking about it and asked, "Anywhere you want to go?"
Qiao Lech shook her head, "Let’s just stay here for a bit, then go back, you should rest well."
"Would you go back with ?" Lin Huai Shu couldn’t help teasing her.
Qiao Lech glanced at him, then out the window, rubbing her hand on the car door, murmuring very softly, "If I go, can you still rest?"

Qiao Lech looked at him.
Lin Huai Shu laughed, "Just joking."
He reached out and touched her head, "Were you tired at ho these days?"
"Not tired." Qiao Lech said, "Just worried about you guys, felt I couldn’t help much."
"How could you say you didn’t help?" Lin Huai Shu said, "Your sister-in-law told you many things, right? Don’t put too much pressure on yourself, you are the Qiao Family’s support."
Qiao Lech didn’t speak.
These days in the Capital City, Qiao Lech was indeed very tired; she was limited in what she could handle, many things were given to her, which she needed to learn.
She was anxious and worried about them.
Though she appeared calm, she was actually anxious inside.
Lin Huai Shu touched her face again, "Take it slow, don’t rush."
"Will you leave?" Qiao Lech asked.
"Yes, I’ll leave after resting for two days." Lin Huai Shu said.
Qiao Lech looked, then lowered her gaze without speaking.
Lin Huai Shu grabbed her hand, holding it in his palm, "Don’t worry, I’ll definitely co back safely, I promise."
"Okay." Qiao Lech said, "Don’t worry about here in Capital City, I can take care of the house."
"Hmm." Lin Huai Shu smiled softly, "I know. Our Lech is amazing, very amazing."
Worried Lin Huai Shu might be tired, they chatted in the parking lot only briefly before Qiao Lech asked him to send her back.
Arriving at the Qiao Family, since it was late, Lin Huai Shu didn’t go in to disturb anyone; he planned to visit tomorrow. So, standing at the door, they chatted a bit more, and watched her enter the Qiao Family before he left.
The main light in the living room was off, leaving only the warm floor lamp beside the sofa.
Qiao Lech changed her shoes at the entrance, took off her coat, and entered the living room.
"You’re back?"
Qiao Yu suddenly spoke, making Qiao Lech jump frightfully, staggering to the side.
She thought the living room was empty.
"Dad, why are you here?" Qiao Lech’s voice seed a bit vague.
Qiao Yu looked at her, "Waiting for you."
Qiao Lech looked at him, paused, "I... I will co back."
"I know." Qiao Yu said, "Sit here, let’s chat a bit."
Calming from the shock, Qiao Lech this ti noticed Qiao Yu’s emotions seed off.
She imdiately sat on the nearby sofa, "Dad, what’s wrong with you?"
"Nothing much." Qiao Yu looked at her for a while, then smiled, "I rember when your mother brought you back, you were only this tall."
Qiao Yu raised his hand for comparison, "Now you’ve grown this much."
Qiao Lech also looked at him, pausing, "Dad, is there sothing you want to tell ?"
"Dad owes you all." Qiao Yu said.
Qiao Lech frowned slightly, suddenly feeling uneasy.
"To Yu Xian, leaving her young with grandparents," Qiao Yu said, "And to you, not being by your side when you were little, letting you and your mom suffer a lot."
