Qiao Yuxian slept half the day, and after waking up, helped with so matters at Yujing Manor. In the afternoon, she went to the airport to pick up Zhao ng.

Brought Zhao ng over.

Zhou Yunbing and Han Yangliu cried again when they saw Zhao ng.

Seeing that nothing happened to them, Zhao ng was also moved to tears by their crying.

It was the first ti Qiao Yuxian saw Zhao ng cry.

In the past, when they watched TV dramas together in the dormitory, all three of them cried, yet Zhao ng’s eyes wouldn’t even redden.

The four of them hadn’t been together like this for over a month.

Surviving a disaster again,

once reunited, there was so much to talk about.

The four of them chatted for more than three hours.

Ru Feng passed by three hours ago and found them talking.

Three hours later, he passed by again and found they had changed positions and were still talking.

He didn’t understand how they had so much to say.

Ru Feng walked away, still sowhat puzzled.

Zhao ng looked at Han Yangliu, then in the direction where Ru Feng disappeared, and asked, "Yangliu, do you have a crush on that guy?"

Qiao Yuxian and Zhou Yunbing both looked at her.

"What nonsense." Han Yangliu said excitedly, "I just think he’s very handso."

Qiao Yuxian and Zhou Yunbing beca intrigued instantly.

"Really handso?" Zhao ng asked.

"Don’t you think so?" Han Yangliu asked seriously, "Look at his sharp brows and eyes, chiseled face, tanned skin, macho image. He’s about 185 cm tall."

Zhao ng nodded: "I didn’t look so closely, I just noticed that he seed to be full of confusion."

And she saw a gun at his waist.

Zhao ng didn’t say this last part aloud.

From the mont she entered here, she noticed sothing was off about this place.

Also, Zhou Yunbing and Han Yangliu obviously didn’t want to say much about how they were rescued.

She didn’t ask further, suppressing all her doubts.

Zhou Yunbing looked at Han Yangliu: "Checking him out so thoroughly?"

"Don’t you think he’s handso?" Han Yangliu asked again.

"Handso indeed." Zhou Yunbing laughed, "But I prefer the pale and delicate type that would cry if bullied."

Zhao ng burst out laughing.

Qiao Yuxian looked at her in surprise.

Zhou Yunbing also looked at her: "Don’t you think so? Soone who cries easily and hugs you calling ’sister’ when bullied."

Qiao Yuxian’s expression turned complicated: "Is it appropriate to fantasize about such things when you’re dealing with a married man? I can’t imagine Gu Yanjing..."

Her silence led everyone into their imaginations.

The other three shivered slightly.

Han Yangliu made a stop gesture, indicating them to stop imagining. She then made a neck-slashing motion, suggesting their thoughts could get them silenced.

After calming down, Zhou Yunbing said, "Anyway, if I found one like that, I’d bully him every day, watching him cry with red eyes."

Qiao Yuxian looked even more incredulous: "You... have so issues."

"Do I?" Zhou Yunbing asked.

Han Yangliu and Zhao ng both nodded.

Zhou Yunbing looked at them in disdain: "You guys can’t handle much."

Qiao Yuxian and the others chuckled.

Zhao ng said: "When shall we go back? Or stay for a few more days?"

"No more, no more." Zhou Yunbing and Han Yangliu imdiately shook their heads, "Let’s go ho quickly, I miss ho. It’s still safer in our country."

"I want to go back tomorrow." Zhou Yunbing said, "The sooner the better."

"Actually, I did another fortune-telling last night before bed." Han Yangliu said, "It said we still have another difficulty to face."

Qiao Yuxian and the others suddenly looked at her seriously.

"We...?" Zhou Yunbing asked.

Han Yangliu nodded: "Us."

As soon as she finished speaking, a burst of intensive gunfire sounded from behind.

Zhou Yunbing shouted in fright and imdiately covered her ears.

Han Yangliu didn’t shout, but she also quickly covered her ears.

Zhao ng was startled, but comparatively, she seed calr than the other two.

Qiao Yuxian imdiately stood up, looking toward the back door. Just as she was about to check, soone suddenly jumped into the yard and headed directly toward them.

Zhao ng quickly stood up, blocking Zhou Yunbing and Han Yangliu.

Qiao Yuxian charged forward and kicked the intruder.

The intruder blocked with his arm, stepped back a few paces, and then imdiately advanced again.

anwhile, more people climbed over the wall.

People from Yujing Manor quickly arrived at the courtyard.

Seeing Qiao Yuxian advance again, Zhao ng urgently shouted: "Yu Xian!"

Qiao Yuxian didn’t respond. She kneed one person’s ribs with a flying knee and kicked another, knocking them down.

The person beside her lunged with a dagger.

Zhao ng’s heart tightened; she wanted to shout, but she was too tense to make a sound.

She fixated on the dagger, watching it approach Qiao Yuxian. Just as it was about to hit, Qiao Yuxian sidestepped, punched the person next to her, and seized the dagger wielder’s wrist. Exerting force, she reversed the dagger’s direction, driving it toward the attacker’s chest.

Just before the impact, Qiao Yuxian noticed Zhao ng watching her.

She then twisted the attacker’s wrist forcefully. The dagger fell, and with a sharp hand chop, she felled the attacker.

Yujing Manor’s people surrounded them, and Qiao Yuxian slowly retreated to Zhao ng and the others.

Zhao ng’s face was a bit pale. She took a few deep breaths and asked Qiao Yuxian, "Are you okay?"

"I’m fine." Qiao Yuxian replied, "And you? Are you alright?"

Zhao ng nodded.

"Co over here." Qiao Yuxian said.

Zhao ng, along with her, helped Zhou Yunbing and Han Yangliu up.

Qiao Yuxian led them away.

Just then, Qian Er ca over and shouted from afar: "Sis-in-law!"

When Qiao Yuxian looked at him, he had already tossed a gun her way.

Qiao Yuxian caught it, loaded it, and while leading Zhao ng and the others to a room, fired a few shots along the way.

Once inside the room, Qiao Yuxian shut the door.

The room was a conference hall.

It had only one floor, a large area, and was very high. In the middle hung an enormous crystal chandelier, surrounded in black. The windows were also positioned high up.

With the door closed, only beams of light stread in through the windows.

Being inside instilled a sense of solemnity and sanctity.

Sealed tightly, it isolated the outside noise and provided a sense of safety.

"Alright, it’s fine now." Qiao Yuxian said, "It’s very safe here."

Zhou Yunbing and Han Yangliu looked at her pitifully.

Qiao Yuxian placed the gun aside, chuckled, and said, "Once we get through this difficulty, everything will go smoothly in the future."

"Why do I feel like you expected this?" Zhou Yunbing said with a trembling voice.

Qiao Yuxian nodded: "Close the door, beat the dog, eliminate the threat."

The three of them looked at her.

Qiao Yuxian said: "The only thing I didn’t expect was that they ca before dark. Otherwise, we’d just be here chatting."

"I told you we still had a challenge to face," Han Yangliu said.

Qiao Yuxian smiled and looked at Zhao ng.

Zhao ng stood leaning against the wall, her face pale but otherwise composed. Her legs were weak, though. She t Qiao Yuxian’s gaze, said nothing, asked no questions, simply gave her a thumbs-up, expressing everything...
