Jing University

In the office, there were only Qiao Yuxian and the instructor.

Afternoon sunlight stread in, the office was sowhat sultry, but the atmosphere dropped to freezing point.

Qiao Yuxian and the instructor stared at each other, and after a mont, she lightly laughed, speaking calmly, "What I wear is my freedom, and I don’t think there’s anything inappropriate about this outfit. If you find it inappropriate, that’s your thinking problem, don’t bla it on ."

The instructor furrowed his brows, his eyes brewing with rage, further infuriated by her defiance, "Qiao Yuxian, I’m telling you, suspension is just the current asure. If you can’t handle your affairs, expelling you is also a possibility."

Qiao Yuxian looked at him indifferently, completely unconcerned by his intimidation and threats, her voice still gentle, "Then expel ."

"Do you think I’m incapable of doing it?" The instructor, looking at her indifferent deanor, grew even more irritated, "Or do you think those n of yours can interfere at school? Girls should always be more self-disciplined, love themselves more, and not do outrageous things just because they have so beauty. It’s one thing to degrade yourself, but don’t bring sha to the whole Foreign Languages Departnt."

Qiao Yuxian was silent for two seconds, then picked up a pen from the pen holder on the desk and casually tore a piece of paper.

Leaning over, she wrote a number on the paper and handed it to him, "I suggest, instructor, that you see a psychologist. Your dirty and distorted mind needs a psychologist’s cleansing."

The instructor squinted his eyes. Faced with Qiao Yuxian’s tranquil ruthlessness, he felt a bit of fear.

Montarily dazed, the phone on the desk rang a few more tis.

Qiao Yuxian slightly curled her lips into a smile, looking at him, "It seems I’m interrupting your business, instructor. I hope your tutoring agency becos more prosperous. I also hope your thoughts beco enlightened soon, and your soul purified soon."

After speaking, she threw the pen back into the pen holder, making a light sound.

She turned around and walked out directly.

The instructor watched her leaving figure, his expression becoming increasingly stormy.

He only snapped out of it when the phone rang and retracted his gaze.

Seeing the caller ID on the phone, he imdiately picked up the call, changing his tune with a smile, "President Zhou, I’m really sorry, there was sothing at the school I needed to handle. I’ll be back right away, please wait a mont. I’ll have soone show you and the child around the institution..."

...

After leaving the school, Qiao Yuxian headed straight back to Fenglin Villa, not dwelling much on the recent incident.

She didn’t do those things, so her conscience was clear. Besides, everything could be resolved, and to her, it wasn’t a big deal. Once the anger faded, it wasn’t worth holding onto.

Back at Fenglin Villa, she first told Shang Chen not to pick her up in the afternoon. Then, seeing Aunt i cleaning and the kitchen empty, she ordered a lot of takeout.

When the takeout arrived, she carried the items into the kitchen...

In the afternoon, Gu Yanjing ca ho from work. As soon as he entered the living room, he saw a coffee table piled with things and... just the top of Qiao Yuxian’s head peeking out from behind the stuff.

ng Yan braked his steps, standing still, also taken aback.

Qiao Yuxian was sitting on the carpet by the coffee table, legs crossed, head down, tapping on her phone responding to ssages. Hearing the noise, she looked up.

Their eyes t, and she smiled with her eyes, "You’re ho?"

After speaking, she bowed her head again to continue replying to ssages.

She was still wearing the sa clothes from the afternoon, only her hair was now tied into a loose bun. With her head lowered, stray hair hung down, softening her entire figure.

Gu Yanjing looked at her, moved closer, and then looked at the stuff on the coffee table.

They were sorted into categories.

First, there were several large cans of candy, a few boxes of chocolate. Next, a few bottles of yogurt, two plates of cookies, and finally, closest to Qiao Yuxian, there was fried chicken and cola.

It looked like she had just had a bite.

Aunt i, preparing dinner, heard the noise and ca out of the kitchen, smiling, "Sir is back?"

Gu Yanjing nodded slightly.

Aunt i walked to the coffee table, her smile widening, "Sir, these are the cookies made by Madam."

Gu Yanjing looked at the cookies again.

On one plate, there were three flavors of Margaret cookies, which appeared to be original, matcha, and chocolate.

On another plate, there were cranberry cookies.

Gu Yanjing looked at Qiao Yuxian.

Qiao Yuxian was looking up, waiting for him to look over, her eyes full of anticipation, almost as if saying, "Praise , praise , praise ."

Aunt i glanced at the two of them, feeling gratified, smiled, and went back into the kitchen.

ng Yan also tactfully went out.

"Sit down," Qiao Yuxian said, "It’s tiring for my neck to look up at you."

Gu Yanjing sat down.

Qiao Yuxian said, "Try so. I spent the whole afternoon making them; they’re delicious."

Gu Yanjing looked at her and said the first words since he entered, "You skipped class."

Qiao Yuxian perford a disappearing act with her smile. Her beautiful eyes filled with little grievances, as if wanting to ignite in the next second.

After staring at each other for two seconds, Gu Yanjing averted his gaze, took a chocolate cookie, and put it in his mouth.

It was crisp, likely because she adjusted the proportions herself, and it tasted great.

Seeing him eat it, Qiao Yuxian imdiately smiled again, "How is it? Is it good?"

"It’s good."

"Then I’ll make more for you when I have the ti," Qiao Yuxian laughed, "I bought so beautiful packaging boxes. When they arrive in a few days, I’ll bring them to your office."

Gu Yanjing lowered his gaze without responding.

Qiao Yuxian replied to a couple of ssages on her phone and looked up to see Gu Yanjing seed a bit absent-minded. She reached out a finger to poke his arm.

Gu Yanjing raised his eyes to look at her.

Qiao Yuxian, holding a can of cola in both hands, handed it to Gu Yanjing.

Gu Yanjing continued to look at her.

"Can you help open this?" Qiao Yuxian blinked her eyes, her voice soft, "I can’t open it."

Gu Yanjing still looked at her, the look in his eyes seed to say: reorganize what you just said.

Seeing his look, Qiao Yuxian chuckled twice, honestly saying, "I don’t want to open it myself."

Gu Yanjing’s expression did not change much, he took the cola from her and opened it, giving it back to her.

Qiao Yuxian happily took a sip.

She reached for the fried chicken, but just as she touched it, Gu Yanjing’s cold voice suddenly sounded, "It’s ti for dinner."

The implication was to stop eating these things.

Qiao Yuxian paused, looked at him, and said, "I won’t have dinner, I’m on a diet."

Gu Yanjing also looked at her.

After a few seconds of staring at each other, Qiao Yuxian retracted her hand, pursing her lips to express her dissatisfaction.

Ignoring her dissatisfaction, Gu Yanjing said, "Go wash the oil off your hands."

Qiao Yuxian put down the cola, obediently got up to wash her hands.

As she walked to the bathroom, she mumbled to herself, "If I knew, I should have shaken the cola before handing it to him. Wash hands? What for, I should just wipe them on him."

Gu Yanjing watched her walk to the bathroom.

Perhaps from sitting cross-legged, the high waist of her pants dropped slightly after she stood up, revealing a finger-width stretch of skin at her waist.

Her waist was very slender, the waistline was beautiful as well. Her skin was white, just showing a bit of it, and Gu Yanjing found it extrely eye-catching.

His gaze lingered at her waist and then moved to the cookies on the coffee table...
