Qiao Yuxian brought Zhaocai back to Fenglin Villa.
After gathering plenty of things from Liu Zhou’s place, and with the journey being a bit long, by the ti they arrived at Fenglin Villa, it was already getting dark.
The car stopped, and as the door opened, Zhaocai rushed out first but was quickly pulled back by the leash.
Qiao Yuxian got out of the car and hung a small handbag on Zhaocai’s neck, saying, "You’re a big dog now; you need to learn to carry your own stuff."
Zhaocai wagged its tail, wearing a muzzle, seemingly quite pleased with becoming a big dog.
"Let’s go." Qiao Yuxian patted its head.
Qiao Yuxian led the leash towards the villa.
Zhaocai walked beside her, carrying a black-and-white small backpack filled with its usual toys on its back, and a pink handbag hanging from its neck, also filled with toys.
Once inside the villa, Qiao Yuxian changed shoes at the entrance, then told Zhaocai to wait there for a mont.
Zhaocai obediently squatted at the entrance waiting for her.
"I’m back." Qiao Yuxian called out as she entered the living room, "I’m back... here."
Upon entering the living room, she realized that not only were Gu Yanjing and Su Qi there, but Chu Zhengran and Lin Huai Shu were also present.
The smile on Qiao Yuxian’s face paused for a mont, but she quickly composed herself, stood upright, and smiled, saying, "Mr. Chu and Young Master Lin are here too."
All four of them watched her change from adorable to poised and mature.
Chu Zhengran gave her a gentle smile.
Lin Huai Shu waved at her with a smile, saying, "Hello, little sister-in-law."
Qiao Yuxian waved back at him while walking towards Gu Yanjing, saying, "Hello, hello."
As she was about to reach Gu Yanjing, she paused and asked, "Were you discussing sothing? Should I..."
"No," Gu Yanjing replied.
"We were just chatting idly," Chu Zhengran added.
Hearing this, Qiao Yuxian walked over and sat beside Gu Yanjing.
After she sat down, Gu Yanjing glanced at Su Qi, signaling him to continue.
Chu Zhengran raised his eyebrow slightly, noticing Gu Yanjing’s openness with Qiao Yuxian being present.
Lin Huai Shu leaned on the sofa, crossing one leg over another, observing them.
Su Qi, already used to it, continued, "Feng Chuanbai’s influence in other islands is still being investigated, and currently, the tricky part is in M Continent where he has so business dealings with Nine Emperor Hall. It might be troubleso."
Qiao Yuxian, sitting next to Gu Yanjing, was about to get up and leave after hearing Su Qi finish.
But as soon as her butt left the sofa, Gu Yanjing pulled her back by the back of her neck.
"Ah," Qiao Yuxian landed back on the sofa.
Chu Zhengran and Lin Huai Shu watched the two of them.
Su Qi lowered his gaze, quietly minimizing his presence.
Qiao Yuxian grabbed Gu Yanjing’s hand in return, turning to him and saying, "Aunt i is busy, I’ll go help her."
Gu Yanjing looked at her.
Qiao Yuxian frankly said, "I won’t stay and listen. If sothing happens, I’ll be the most suspicious. I don’t want to listen."
Chu Zhengran and Lin Huai Shu watched her.
"What could possibly happen?" Gu Yanjing asked.
"How would I know what might happen?" Qiao Yuxian said, "Anyway, no matter what happens, if sothing goes wrong, I’ll be a suspect."
"Sit properly," Gu Yanjing said, releasing her, "nobody suspects you."
Qiao Yuxian glanced at him, then obediently sat properly on the sofa.
After a brief silence, Chu Zhengran said, "If Nine Emperor Hall intervenes, we’ll have one more enemy."
"And this isn’t just any ordinary opponent," Lin Huai Shu said, "getting involved with Nine Emperor Hall would be a big trouble, at the very least a long-lasting battle with no end in sight."
"So... we should proceed with caution," Chu Zhengran said, "targeting Feng Chuanbai will involve many gang forces. It’s best not to antagonize Nine Emperor Hall at this ti."
"Then we’ll have to negotiate with Nine Emperor Hall," Lin Huai Shu looked at Gu Yanjing.
Chu Zhengran also looked at him.

Gu Yanjing remained silent, accepting their suggestion.
Qiao Yuxian sat quietly on the side, watching them.
Amidst the silence, Shang Chen ca in carrying several bags. As he entered the living room, he greeted everyone, "Mr. Gu, Mr. Chu, Mr. Lin."
Chu Zhengran nodded, glancing at the colorful bags in Shang Chen’s hands.
Lin Huai Shu suddenly asked, "Shang Chen is in a relationship?"
Gu Yanjing looked at him.
Lin Huai Shu took a sharp breath, "Why are you looking at like that? Did I say sothing wrong again?"
"It’s Shang Chen’s boss who’s in a relationship," Chu Zhengran lightly tapped Lin Huai Shu on the back of his head, "Idiot."
Lin Huai Shu rubbed the back of his head and clicked his tongue.
