Chapter 827: Chapter 827: Don’t Want to Leave Chapter 827: Chapter 827: Don’t Want to Leave Wang ng appraised Su Ningxiu, who was wearing a lake-green dress today, with her hair adorned with a matching Pearl Hairpin. Su Ningxiu today looked even more beautiful and delicate than the last ti Wang ng saw her. Reason told Wang ng that this was the mont he should leave.

He was supposed to go to the backyard and help the Gu brothers with the rabbits.

But his feet wouldn’t move.

Yes!

He didn’t want to leave.

Su Ningxiu was sitting there, helping her little sister and brother-in-law mind the store, but at this mont the store had no custors; it was just her and Wang ng. The two fell into an uncomfortable silence.

Su Ningxiu took the initiative to strike up a conversation, “Brother Wang, may I ask where your ho is?” At that mont, Wang ng was wracking his brain to initiate a conversation with Su Ningxiu.

Now that Su Ningxiu had opened the conversation, Wang ng imdiately responded.

“Miss Su, my family lives in Gu Family Village, which is the sa village as the Gu brothers.” After Wang ng finished speaking, Su Ningxiu suddenly rembered that her younger sister had ntioned Wang ng’s place of residence before.

Knowing that Wang ng and her brother-in-law lived in the sa village, Su Ningxiu had no further questions, as her inquiry was really just small talk.

To alleviate the awkwardness between them.

After a single exchange,

Su Ningxiu fell silent again, and Wang ng, having opened the conversation, continued to ask Su Ningxiu, “Miss Su, has that Master Wu bothered you again since last ti?”

Since clarifying things with Master Wu, Su Ningxiu had not seen him again. After so much ti, she had nearly forgotten about the man.

Wang ng brought him up again.

Su Ningxiu shook her head, “Brother Wang, no, he has not troubled since. I’m afraid the incident last ti was quite embarrassing for you to witness.” The thought of Wang ng seeing what happened with her and Master Wu that ti made Su Ningxiu feel sowhat ashad.

Wang ng quickly spoke up.

“Miss Su, you were deceived last ti; all bla lies with that despicable and shaless Master Wu and his vile actions. You can’t bla yourself for that, Miss Su, and you shouldn’t dwell on it.”

Su Ningxiu looked at Wang ng, “Brother Wang, don’t you think my behavior was improper?” The incident at the market had spread to the Su Family Village.

These past days in the village, Su Ningxiu had her fill of idle gossip. Especially Su Xiaofu, who on several occasions had approached Su Ningxiu to call her a shaless woman.

Saying she was luring n all the way to the town.

Although Su Ningxiu herself had been deceived, after hearing such talk repeatedly, she did feel a asure of concern and inferiority, even truly feeling as though she had been luring n.

“Of course not, Miss Su; you’ve always been a good girl in my eyes.” Without even thinking, Wang ng imdiately blurted out his response.

Wang ng was telling the truth; he indeed held that opinion of her. How could he bla her for that matter with Master Wu when she too was a victim?

A good girl?

Su Yunjin repeated Wang ng’s words, her eyes shining, “Brother Wang, do you really think I am a good girl?” It had been the first ti soone had called her a good girl since the incident.

Wang ng looked at Su Ningxiu solemnly and nodded.

“Miss Su, I genuinely believe you are a good girl.” Wang ng’s expression was serious and earnest, not at all like he was lying.

Su Yunjin looked at Wang ng.

“Thank you, Brother Wang, for still seeing in that light.”

······

Back at the front part of the store, Wang ng and Su Ningxiu’s conversation grew, and neither felt awkward any longer, while in the backyard, after Gu Ya had finished skinning the rabbits,

his little wife wouldn’t let him leave.
