Yunjin planned to use the remaining hot water to scald the chicken for plucking.
Without overthinking it, Ningxiu picked up the hot tea from the table and walked outside, “Little sister, I’ll take the tea to Brother Wang and your husband now.”
With the hot tea in hand, Ningxiu left.
Yunjin watched Ningxiu’s retreating figure and snickered to herself.
She was working so hard to bring Ningxiu and Brother Wang together and hoped they truly would beco a couple. Besides hot tea, there were also fruits and pastries in the other room.
After Ningxiu helped with the tea, Yunjin asked her to also serve the tea snacks. anwhile, Yunjin was dealing with the pheasants Wang ng had brought to the backyard. The scalded pheasant was easy to pluck.
Yunjin deftly plucked the pheasant feathers and cleaned the bird by cutting it open. For the braised pheasant, there was a stove in the kitchen. After setting it up to braise, Yunjin didn’t bother with it any further.

Ningxiu offered to help, and Yunjin deliberately asked her to mind the shop for a bit. This left Ningxiu and Brother Wang alone in the front of the shop.
Yunjin pulled Gu Ya towards the backyard.
