Gu Yan didn’t answer Su Yunjin’s question, instead, he asked her out of the blue, “Yunjin, do you want to go to the market?”
“Go to the market?” Gu Yan’s sudden suggestion left Su Yunjin a bit befuddled, before he added, “I will head to the market after breakfast tomorrow, if you’d like to, we can go together.”

Mrs. Chu added a log to the fire and upon seeing Su Yunjin arrive, she cheerfully slapped her clothing, got up, “Third sister-in-law, you’re just in ti, the water in the pot has ward up, you can scoop a couple of basins and take them back to your room for a bath! I was about to scoop so water for a wash myself.”
A bath?
It just so happened that Su Yunjin was thinking about taking a bath!
Since her ti-travel here, she hadn’t taken a single bath, so seeing Mrs. Chu scoop water for a bath, Su Yunjin also scooped up two basins of hot water and returned to her room to bathe.
The Gu Family used bathing tubs for baths. Su Yunjin prepared half a tub of hot water and tested the temperature; it was neither too hot nor too cold, just right.
