Su Yunjin brought the food to Gu Ya and sat down beside him. Gu Ya took a couple of big mouthfuls of rice and sensed that his young wife seed to have sothing to say to him.
He stopped and looked at her, asking, “What is it? Yunjin, do you have sothing to say?”
Su Yunjin indeed had sothing she wanted to tell Gu Ya.
“Husband, I want to visit my family ho tomorrow! I probably won’t be back until evening. I will prepare your als in advance tomorrow and I will also speak to my fifth brother to ask him to look after you for the day.”
“Yunjin, why are you visiting your family ho?” Gu Ya asked, sowhat surprised. Her recent visit was not long ago, so why another one so soon?
Su Yunjin said, “Husband, I’ll just be going there for one day and will be back soon.”
This trip ho was about selling the Pickled Fish Sauce that Su Yunjin had made last ti. However, if she ntioned it to Gu Ya now, he might worry that the Pickled Fish Sauce wouldn’t sell. After so thought, Su Yunjin decided it was best not to tell Gu Ya for the ti being. She would wait until after she had sold it before informing him.
Aside from Yunjin’s parents, the Su Family, including her step-grandmother and her aunts and uncles, were not easy to deal with. This was compounded by the previous incident where Yunjin had fallen into the water and lost consciousness while visiting her family.
Without accompanying her, Gu Ya worried that Yunjin might suffer a disadvantage on her visit to the Su Family. He said, “Yunjin, if it’s not important, it’s better not to go. If you really want to go, wait until my legs have healed and I will accompany you.”
It would be at least another month or two before Gu Ya’s injuries healed.
If she were to wait for Gu Ya’s injuries to heal before going back, who knows how long that would be? Clearly, Su Yunjin wouldn’t agree, “Husband, it’s necessary for to visit my family ho tomorrow.”
“Yunjin, are you sure you’ll be alright going back alone?” Gu Ya raised an eyebrow.

“Yunjin, listen to . After the incident with your second sister, your step-grandmother and aunts and uncles may hold a grudge against you. If you run into them tomorrow, are you sure you can handle it?” Gu Ya looked at his young wife, questioning her.
So that’s what was bothering him! Gu Ya was worried about her, afraid she would be at a disadvantage back at the Su Family! Understanding his concern, Su Yunjin said with a laugh, “Husband, rest assured, I won’t have any trouble when I go back tomorrow! My step-grandmother and the others aren’t tigers. Even if I see them, so what? Could they really devour ?”
Under the lamplight, Su Yunjin’s smile was sly, her eyes curving like a cunning little fox.
