Tea house!

After Su Yunjin left, Prince Chu sat by the window drinking, cup after cup. The waiter delivered a total of six pots of wine, all of which Prince Chu finished completely.

"Soone, bring wine!" Prince Chu found his cup empty and asked for more wine. A red-dressed woman stopped the waiter outside.

The waiter looked at the red-dressed woman with a troubled expression.

"Miss, the Prince inside wants wine. If you stop , how am I supposed to deliver the wine to the Prince?"

Being blocked by the red-dressed woman, the waiter feared that if the wine wasn’t delivered, and Prince Chu got angry, even ten heads wouldn’t be enough to compensate!

The red-dressed woman imdiately noticed the waiter’s concern.

"Don’t worry! As long as I’m here, the Prince won’t do anything to you! By the way, go to the kitchen and have them make a bowl of sobering soup for Prince Chu, make it as thick as possible."

With the assurance from the red-dressed woman, knowing she was soone close to Prince Chu, the waiter hesitated for a mont but then went to prepare the soup as instructed.

Prince Chu had drunk a table full of wine but was unexpectedly sober.

Upon seeing the red-dressed woman walk in from outside, Prince Chu asked coldly, "Why are you here?"

"Prince, I just escorted Madam Gu, wouldn’t you be interested in hearing what we talked about?" The red-dressed woman sat down opposite Prince Chu.

Prince Chu looked at the woman without speaking, waiting for her to continue.

The red-dressed woman glanced at the table full of cups and pots, inhaling the strong scent of alcohol from Prince Chu, and poured him a glass as she spoke, "Prince, to help you, Madam Gu doesn’t like now. You have no idea; when I escorted Madam Gu, she was so cold to , she nearly froze into an ice cube."

Prince Chu did not drink the tea she poured for him. He casually put the cup back, and the red-dressed woman wasn’t bothered. Instead, she poured herself a glass.

"Brother Chu, what’s wrong? Not interested in hearing the rest?" The red-dressed woman noticed Prince Chu no longer looked at her, staring out the window. She leaned closer, and Prince Chu felt her proximity and reprimanded irritably, "Disrespectful!"

"Brother Chu, don’t be mad! I’m just trying to tell you Madam Gu’s news." The woman took a step back, feigning fear.

Seeing the woman acting afraid, Prince Chu was annoyed and said, "I don’t need you to tell anything, go away!"

"Brother Chu, I just told Madam Gu outside that the person you’re going to marry is actually . And I said..."

Before the red-dressed woman finished her sentence, Prince Chu suddenly grabbed her hand and asked, "What else did you say?"

"Ouch, it hurts, it hurts, it hurts!" The red-dressed woman’s wrist hurt from Prince Chu’s grip, causing her to grimace at him. Prince Chu instinctively loosened his grip on her wrist.

The red-dressed woman quickly withdrew her hand, huffing irritably, "Can’t you be gentler, Prince? Gripping so tightly, you’re about to break my hand!"

"Tell , what else did you say to her?" Prince Chu asked again.

The red-dressed woman was about to speak but suddenly said teasingly, "Want to know? Hmph, I won’t tell you!"

The red-dressed woman rubbed her wrist and stord off, leaving Prince Chu alone in the tea house.

...

Gu Residence, after Su Yunjin returned, she kept rembering the words the red-dressed woman said to her.

"Madam Gu, there’s sothing I want to tell you; Prince Chu has actually done many things for you that you don’t know about!"
