Linglong still dared not hold the child, and Su Yunjin didn’t tease Linglong anymore.

Since Gu Ya wasn’t around, Su Yunjin had been eating alone recently. Now that Linglong was here, Su Yunjin simply let Linglong eat with her. Two people eating was always more lively than one, and there would be soone to talk to.

Initially, Linglong was unwilling to share the table with Su Yunjin, feeling it was inappropriate. Su Yunjin was the mistress of the house, and although Linglong was no longer a servant at the Prince Ning Residence, it was still quite improper to eat at the sa table with Lady Gu.

However, Su Yunjin didn’t mind such formalities and insisted on having Linglong eat with her. Seeing she couldn’t refuse, Linglong didn’t persist further. So, for the past few days, Linglong had been eating together with Su Yunjin.

Su Yunjin instructed the kitchen to prepare als according to her own tastes every day. Not knowing what Linglong liked to eat, Su Yunjin asked Linglong to instruct the kitchen to make whatever she preferred.

Linglong, having been a servant, was always unconcerned about food and would eat whatever was available. When Su Yunjin had Linglong instruct the kitchen, Linglong only asked for one or two of the most common dishes each ti, sotis just two vegetarian dishes.

Su Yunjin thought Linglong might be embarrassed, so after a day, she stopped asking Linglong to choose dishes and directly selected for Linglong herself.

For the first ti, Linglong ate tomato noodles. After just one bite, Linglong couldn’t help but look at Su Yunjin, "Madam, these noodles are really delicious. I wonder what they’re made with?"

"Miss Linglong, these noodles are made with Madam’s secret tomato sauce. Not only do you love it, but anyone who has tasted it finds it delicious!" Mrs. Bao said with a smile.

Linglong was hearing about tomato sauce for the first ti and instinctively looked toward Su Yunjin sitting opposite, "Madam, what is tomato sauce?"

"Sister Linglong, the tomato sauce is made from fresh tomatoes. After lunch, I can have soone bring it over for you to see." Su Yunjin casually explained while tasting the noodles in front of her.

Linglong found the noodles delicious and ate the bowl clean. Seeing Linglong liked them, Su Yunjin had the kitchen send another bowl to Linglong.

Linglong stayed at the residence for a day and went out early the next morning, leaving a ssage for Su Yunjin, saying she would return before dark.

Linglong went out, and Su Yunjin didn’t ask much.

Linglong was just temporarily staying at the Gu Residence; she had her freedom.

Su Yunjin wouldn’t overly interfere with Linglong.

Linglong said she’d return before dark, and indeed, she ca back before dark, not only buying new clothes for Xue Chu but also buying a little toy each for Little Tiangua and Little Yuanbao.

They were a pair of wooden carvings: a small wooden tiger and a small wooden rabbit. The tiger was for Little Yuanbao, and the rabbit was for Little Tiangua.

Su Yunjin gave the little toys Linglong bought to the Little Tiangua siblings, and seeing the small wooden carvings Linglong bought, Little Tiangua showed great interest, clinging to them and joyfully nibbling on them.

Su Yunjin feared the wooden carvings would hurt Little Tiangua, quickly pulling the little rabbit from Little Tiangua’s mouth.

After nibbling once, Little Tiangua, seemingly aware that it wasn’t edible, didn’t try to chew again but held onto it to play.

Little Yuanbao had always been uninterested in these little toys. Whether it was a small ball or a soft toy Su Yunjin gave him, Little Yuanbao didn’t like them at all. Instead, he liked pens.

That day, Gu Ya gave a clean brush to Little Yuanbao, and unexpectedly, Little Yuanbao gripped it and played with it, engrossed.
