After Su Yunjin returned ho, she took a bath and changed into a fresh set of clothes, finally feeling comfortable.
Just now at the Guo Family, Su Yunjin was made dizzy by the commotion of the Guo Family mbers. Especially the shouting of Guo’s mother, which still made Su Yunjin uncomfortable now.
Being at her own ho felt more comfortable. Su Yunjin lay lazily on a wooden chair, eating grapes that Aunt Bao had washed and sent over by the maid.
The fresh grapes were large and sweet, very delicious.
Su Yunjin ate grapes and spat out the peels, feeling utterly relaxed and content. She had no interest in ddling in the trivial matters between her elder brother and Guo Qiulan. With this ti, she would rather entertain the kids!
Her elder brother and Guo Qiulan—one was a scoundrel, the other was manipulative, neither were good people. After finishing the last grape, Su Yunjin clapped her hands and planned to see the two kids. When she had just returned from Guo Qiulan’s parental ho, the two children were napping, so Su Yunjin did not disturb them.
Now, after this long, by the ti she calculated, the two kids should be awake. Just thinking about those two delicate little bundles lifted Su Yunjin’s spirits.
"Madam, is your elder brother’s matter resolved?" Aunt Bao asked casually.
Su Yunjin replied lightly as she walked, "Hmm. It’s been resolved, nothing more now."
Aunt Bao sighed, "Madam, your elder brother is truly worriso."
Su Yunjin said nothing; she had helped her elder brother with what she could, but for the matters she shouldn’t ddle in, Su Yunjin wouldn’t bother. Right now, she had no fondness for either her brother or Guo Qiulan.
From inside ca the babbling sounds of two children, as the nursemaid was teaching them to speak.
Little Tiangua, in her childish voice, called out for her mother. As soon as Su Yunjin walked in, Little Tiangua spotted her. Upon seeing Su Yunjin, the little one’s eyes lit up, and using both hands and feet, crawled quickly towards her mother. Little Yuanbao also saw Su Yunjin but, unlike Little Tiangua, did not crawl over, yet it was clear that Little Yuanbao was particularly happy.
Now Little Tiangua crawled especially fast, and before the nursemaid could react, Little Tiangua had already quickly scurried to her mother’s side. Seeing her daughter crawl to her feet, Su Yunjin amusingly picked her up. In her mother’s arms, Little Tiangua’s delighted face was red and rosy. Mimicking her mother, she leaned over and gave her mother a kiss on the cheek.
After kissing her mother, Little Tiangua tilted her little face upwards, wanting her mother to kiss her.
Understanding her daughter’s intention, Su Yunjin lowered her head to give her daughter a kiss on the cheek.
Having been kissed by her mother, Little Tiangua grinned joyfully.
Su Yunjin carried her daughter into the room.
The maid ca over to inform Su Yunjin that Mrs. Qin had arrived, causing Su Yunjin to quickly and cheerfully respond, "Go quickly, invite Mrs. Qin over."
Since confirming that Mrs. Qin, like her, was a modern person, Su Yunjin had been planning to tell Mrs. Qin about her identity when the opportunity arose. Now that Mrs. Qin had co today, Su Yunjin decided it was as good a ti as any to sound her out, to see how Mrs. Qin would respond.
Having made her decision, Su Yunjin instructed a servant to fetch sothing she had specially prepared for Mrs. Qin.
