Su Yunjin saw that it was just Guo Qiulan, and casually asked, "Where’s my brother? Didn’t he co with you?" Unobtrusively, Su Yunjin avoided Guo Qiulan’s touch again; she didn’t have much affection for this sister-in-law, and disliked Guo Qiulan’s touch just as much.
"Little sister, my husband is busy with opening the shop at ho! Isn’t the shop in town set to open tomorrow? There are many things to be busy with, so he couldn’t make it here, and only I ca." Guo Qiulan was all smiles.
Su Yunjin walked into the room and sat down, then asked Guo Qiulan to sit as well.
"Sister-in-law, what brings you here so late today? Is there sothing you need?" Su Yunjin asked nonchalantly.
Guo Qiulan chuckled, "Little sister, it’s like this; I’m here today because my husband entrusted to co."
"My brother? Why? Could it be that there’s still sothing you need help with at the shop?" Su Yunjin speculated, following Guo Qiulan’s words.
Guo Qiulan waved her hand repeatedly, "No, no, no, that’s not it. There’s nothing left to be busy with for the shop; the remaining work will be handled by my husband tonight. There’s no problem at the shop, and nothing that needs your help, little sister."
Su Yunjin was even more puzzled, "Sister-in-law, if there’s no issue with the shop and you don’t need my help, why did you co so late?"
Guo Qiulan felt a bit embarrassed, hesitated for a mont, and then finally spoke, "Little sister, it’s like this; didn’t you suggest to my husband before to do cargo business at the dock? Back then, my husband and I planned to open the shop and didn’t agree, but now he still thinks doing cargo business at the dock is better; he said he likes it more at the dock, so my husband is thinking of asking you and your husband for help."
Su Yunjin finally understood; Guo Qiulan circled around so much just to talk about the cargo business at the dock.
It seems Guo Qiulan realized the benefits of the cargo business at the dock, hence she ca over late at night to find her.
Guo Qiulan continued to smile and said, "Little sister, didn’t you say last ti that you bought a few boats for my husband? Since you’ve bought the boats anyway, why not just give them to my husband!"
"Sister-in-law, your wonton shop is set to open tomorrow; does my brother have ti to do sothing else?" Su Yunjin responded with a question.
Guo Qiulan had already prepared an answer for Su Yunjin’s question, "Little sister, the wonton shop is small, I can handle it myself; if necessary, I can go back to my parents’ house and call my sister-in-law to help . With my sister-in-law’s help, I’m sure I can open the wonton shop well."
Guo Qiulan made a well-calculated argunt and continued, "Since my husband likes working at the dock, as his wife, I naturally should support him. With managing the shop, my husband doesn’t have to worry at all; he can fully focus on his cargo business."
"Little sister, didn’t you always want my husband to work at the dock? Now that he wants to go himself, little sister, you’ll support him, won’t you?" Guo Qiulan looked at Su Yunjin nervously, fearing that she would refuse.
Su Yunjin looked at Guo Qiulan indifferently, and spoke expressionlessly, "Sister-in-law, I gave both you and my brother a chance before, asking whether you wanted to do cargo business at the dock or open a shop in town. You were decisive then, telling you wanted to open a shop. What is this now? The shop isn’t even open yet, and you want to backtrack?" Su Yunjin’s voice was not loud, but inexplicably made Guo Qiulan feel guilty.
