"Go? You want us all to leave? Why? We were all brought here to be concubines for the young master by the old lady. Who are you, a butler, to tell us to go?"

"Yeah, why should we? We’re not leaving, we want to see the old lady. Butler, go and get her for us now. We want to ask her directly."

"That’s right, we want to see the old lady. No one can make us leave except for her. We are all concubines of the young master, and we all want to stay."

The won refused to leave, unwilling to give up the hard-won chance to live comfortably as mistresses.

All collectively clamored to see the old lady. Aunt Bao approached with disdain, saying, "When did our young master acknowledge you as concubines? You’re shalessly loud without any rightful title."

"Butler, since the young master instructed you, why are you wasting words with these people? Quickly drive them all away, lest any random people co to our manor claiming to be connected to the young master!"

Aunt Bao spat on the ground again, "Pah, don’t you look at yourself in the mirror? Dreaming of being our young master’s won, are you?"

"Hey, how dare you speak like that? Who are you calling random? Let’s see, you’re just a servant and yet you think you’re important? A servant will always be a servant. What’s wrong with us? At least we were all chosen by the old lady to serve the young master as concubines. What are you to criticize us?" The won defiantly argued with Aunt Bao.

"Look quickly, everyone, look, the old lady is here. The old lady has finally co." The sharp-eyed among them noticed Mrs. An erging from the backyard.

As soon as everyone saw Mrs. An, they felt like they had seen their savior.

They crowded around.

"Madam, old lady, you’ve finally co. You have no idea how the servants have been bullying us here!"

"Old lady, they not only told us to leave but also called us random people trying to beco the young master’s won."

"Old lady, we were all personally chosen by you as concubines for the young master. After all, we are the young master’s won, but these two have insulted us so. You must stand up for us, old lady!"

The won stole pleased glances at Aunt Bao; with the old lady here, they felt their support had arrived.

Aunt Bao had dared to speak to them like that; now they were having Mrs. An properly deal with Aunt Bao and the butler.

Mrs. An had just co from Gu Ya and Su Yunjin, seething with anger. Now she was fuming.

The won unwittingly found themselves in Mrs. An’s firing line.

Mrs. An vented all her rage onto them.

"Concubines? What concubines? A bunch of presumptuous fools. Get out, all of you, just get out with your belongings. Seeing you gives a headache." Mrs. An yelled angrily, leaving the won stunned.

The butler, without waiting for the won to react, arranged for the house servants to throw the five won out of the manor.

Mrs. An left in anger as well, especially as she thought about the last words her son Gu Ya had said to her alone. It only made her angrier and more frustrated.

Over that woman, her son dared to threaten her?

Mrs. An ground her teeth in anger.

Her fists clenched tightly.
