Has Gu Ya returned?

Su Yunjin was overjoyed, eagerly questioning Hong Wu, "Husband? Where is he now?"

"Madam, the young master should be in the front yard by now!" Hong Wu, having seen the Gu Residence’s carriage from afar, ran over to inform the madam as soon as he noticed Gu Ya was back.

Hearing that Gu Ya was in the front yard, Su Yunjin happily lifted her skirt and ran outside. Gu Ya, also eager to see his little wife, made his way to the inner yard with big strides after getting off the carriage. Su Yunjin ran all the way out, soon spotting Gu Ya who had just returned.

"Husband!" Su Yunjin joyfully leaped into Gu Ya’s arms, who naturally embraced his little wife rushing towards him. Holding Gu Ya, Su Yunjin once again inhaled his familiar scent, feeling a bit indulgent. Her arms around his waist tightened unconsciously, and she rubbed her little head against his chest.

Since their marriage, Su Yunjin had never been apart from Gu Ya for so long. It was the first ti the couple had been separated for more than half a month. There were many things Su Yunjin wanted to say to Gu Ya, but now that she finally saw him, she didn’t feel like saying anything—just wanted to hold him like this.

Gu Ya knew that being away for so long, his little wife must have been worried. Looking down at the little woman depending on him in his embrace, all his emotions turned into an apology, "Yunjin, I’m sorry." This ti, he hadn’t considered things thoroughly, causing his little wife to worry.

Su Yunjin lifted her little head from Gu Ya’s chest.

"Husband, it’s , it’s who always brings you trouble." Su Yunjin’s voice was muffled. She’s not soone who doesn’t appreciate kindness. Gu Ya had silently done so much for her—how could Su Yunjin bla him?

Moreover, this ti, it was actually because of her. If it weren’t for her inadvertently eting Prince Chu, there wouldn’t have been so much trouble afterward.

With a look of self-bla, Gu Ya’s large hand fell on her head, stroking her dark hair, "Nonsense, just overthinking!"

Su Yunjin suddenly seed to think of sothing and darted out of Gu Ya’s embrace.

"Husband, did you get hurt? Did you encounter any danger?" After pushing Gu Ya away, Su Yunjin began to carefully inspect him from head to toe.

Seeing her nervous expression, Gu Ya quickly said, "Yunjin, don’t worry, I’m fine. I wasn’t in danger, and I didn’t get hurt."

Only when she was sure Gu Ya didn’t appear injured did Su Yunjin finally relax.

Gu Ya had already learned from Wen Muyan’s letter that his little wife had been worried about him before. He hadn’t told her the truth initially, concealing the real reason for his departure, to avoid making her worry, not expecting she would eventually find out and worry even more.

Gu Ya looked at his little wife.

This was sothing he hadn’t thoroughly considered.

Su Yunjin always wanted to know what strategy Gu Ya had discussed with King Ning, wanted to know how Gu Ya dealt with Prince Chu on this trip.

Just as Su Yunjin was about to ask Gu Ya, he suddenly scooped her up by the waist, "Husband, what are you doing?" Su Yunjin nestled in Gu Ya’s arms.

Gu Ya didn’t explain, carrying his little wife in big strides towards their room. If at first Su Yunjin didn’t know Gu Ya’s intentions, seeing him like this now, even if she were slow, she understood.
