Among the next few riddles, Su Muze guessed two himself, Su Yunjin helped Su Muze with one, and there was another that Guo Qiulan hinted at, which Su Yunjin guessed correctly.

With Su Yunjin and Guo Qiulan’s help, Su Muze barely managed to pass the riddles. Now, there was a challenge for the bride, Guo Qiulan, which was to identify Su Muze’s hand from ten pairs of hands. If Guo Qiulan could find Su Muze’s hand, she would pass this challenge.

In ancient tis, unlike modern tis, n and won were kept apart, so it wouldn’t be appropriate for Guo Qiulan to touch n’s hands. Except for Su Muze, the other nine pairs of hands were all won’s. In other words, Guo Qiulan had to pick Su Muze’s hand among these nine pairs of won’s hands.

n’s hands are different from won’s; n’s hands are usually rougher than won’s. If one is careful, they can guess which pair is her elder brother’s hand.

With her veil over her face, Guo Qiulan walked up to the ten people. She quickly let go after touching the first pair of hands.

The first pair was small, with slender fingers, evidently a woman’s hands. Guo Qiulan, being clever, imdiately knew it wasn’t Su Muze.

So she continued to feel the other hands, spending longer on the second and third pairs. When she reached the fifth pair, she paused.

Everyone held their breath at this mont, as Su Muze was the fifth person. If Guo Qiulan chose this pair, she would have guessed correctly.

Everyone found it amusing to tease Su Muze, seeing his face turn red. They wanted to tease the bride too. If Guo Qiulan guessed right, they wouldn’t be able to tease her anymore. So when she paused at the fifth person, everyone felt a wave of tension.

Guo Qiulan repeatedly squeezed Su Muze’s large hands. Just when everyone thought she had guessed correctly, she suddenly let go, leaving Su Muze anxious and sweating. As Guo Qiulan moved on to touch other people’s hands, everyone in the room laughed behind their hands.

Su Muze was so anxious he wanted to shout out and tell Guo Qiulan she was right. Su Yunjin watched from the side, finding the scene more and more amusing.

Initially, Su Yunjin just joined in for fun, not expecting the ancient bridal chamber gas to have so many tricks, which were quite interesting.

Guo Qiulan was clever. Although she let go of Su Muze’s hand midway, she returned in the end and guessed it right. Su Muze was overjoyed, thinking his wife was truly smart.

The guests continued the fun in the bridal chamber for a little while longer until the joybringer urged them to leave the new couple’s room. After sending off the rowdy guests, Su Muze finally breathed a sigh of relief.

If the teasing had continued, Su Muze felt he surely would have been made to drink until he was unconscious. Walking to the bed, Su Muze gently lifted Guo Qiulan’s wedding veil with the joy scale, revealing her beautiful, shy face. Su Muze was montarily dazed looking at his new bride under the veil.

"Qiuqiu," Su Muze called Guo Qiulan.

Guo Qiulan smiled, "Husband, still calling Qiuqiu?"

Su Muze understood and imdiately laughed along sheepishly. Now that they were married, Guo Qiulan was his wife, after all.

Su Muze sat down beside Guo Qiulan, held her small hand, and the couple gazed into each other’s eyes. In a low voice, Su Muze called out, "Wifey."
