Linglong wore a veil, her figure was similar to Su Yunjin’s, dressed in Su Yunjin’s usual clothes and with her hair styled in Su Yunjin’s usual manner.
In the dim carriage, King Chu didn’t notice Linglong’s disguise at first glance when he got in. Linglong knew that if she spoke, King Chu would surely find sothing amiss.
So, Linglong resolved that regardless of what King Chu said, she wouldn’t utter a word. After getting on, King Chu didn’t speak to her at first either.
Upon seeing Linglong with a veil, King Chu was montarily surprised, then with slightly darkened eyes, he sat opposite Linglong. Linglong knew King Chu had considerable martial skills and was aware that he had placed experts around the carriage to prevent her escape. In this situation, if her identity was exposed and King Chu knew she was posing as Su Yunjin, it would surely end badly for her.
Linglong secretly pondered ways to deal with King Chu.
King Chu sat opposite Linglong, neither speaking nor acting, just steadily examining her through her veil. After a long while, King Chu suddenly reached out and touched Linglong’s hair.
“I know you bla . But, even so, I don’t regret it.” King Chu gazed deeply at Linglong, his voice low, gentle, and tender.
In the night, King Chu’s voice was very alluring.
Linglong’s body stiffened slightly. King Chu’s large hand slowly moved from her hair down to her face, “It’s good, you are finally mine.”
