Su Yunjin received the red bean soup from Aunt Bao. It was a bit hot, so she only took a small sip. Aunt Bao fixed her gaze on Su Yunjin, "Madam, how is it? How does it taste?"

Su Yunjin nodded, "Aunt, the red bean soup tastes quite good." Receiving Su Yunjin’s affirmative reply, Aunt Bao retreated with a beaming smile. Su Yunjin set aside the red bean soup, and looked at Gu Yan to ask him, "Husband, today we let the Commandery Princess et Wen Muyan at the Qin Residence. If the Prince finds out, will he bla you?" Su Yunjin was vaguely worried.

Gu Yan took a calm sip of tea, unhurriedly said, "Yunjin, don’t worry! It will be fine." Gu Yan’s composure indeed did not seem like soone who was afraid.

Although Su Yunjin heard Gu Yan say this, she still felt uncertain in her heart.

"Husband, what if the Prince truly blas us then what?" Wen Muyan was soone she helped the Commandery Princess to et. If the Prince really blas them, she would personally go to explain to him.

Su Yunjin planned not to let Gu Yan take the bla for her. Gu Yan seed to perceive her thoughts, laughed softly, "Alright, Yunjin, stop overthinking it. I said the Prince won’t bla us, so there’s nothing to worry about. Don’t let your imagination run wild and scare yourself."

Su Yunjin was not foolish.

She imdiately grasped the implication behind Gu Yan’s words.

"Husband, could it be that the Prince already knows about this matter? And he doesn’t intend to bla us at all?" Su Yunjin stared at Gu Yan, not waiting for him to answer.

Su Yunjin was very sure of her guess.

Gu Yan made a sound of acknowledgnt, "Yunjin, your guess is correct. The Prince indeed already knows that Princess Baolu would et Wen Muyan today. And he hasn’t blad either of us."

The heavy stone hanging in the air finally dropped.

Su Yunjin also let out a long sigh of relief.

No matter what, as long as the Prince doesn’t bla her and Gu Yan, that’s good. But, how did the Prince know about Princess Baolu secretly going to et Wen Muyan?

Su Yunjin looked at Gu Yan with a face full of suspicion.

"Husband, how did the Prince find out?" The Commandery Princess had initially sought her and Gu Yan in secret from the Prince, and she certainly wouldn’t have told him about eting Wen Muyan.

If it wasn’t the Commandery Princess, then who could it be? Su Yunjin’s eyes lit up as she stared at Gu Yan, suddenly enlightened, "Husband, could it be you who told the Prince about this?" Besides Gu Yan, Su Yunjin couldn’t think of anyone else who could inform the Prince about this matter.

Gu Yan did not deny it, and admitted it quite straightforwardly.

"Yunjin, indeed it was I who told the Prince." The day after learning that his wife had inford the Commandery Princess about Wen Muyan going to the Qin Residence, Gu Yan told the Prince about it.

Whether to stop the Commandery Princess or not, Gu Yan left it to the Prince. Gu Yan knew that while the Prince appeared strict with the Commandery Princess on the surface, in reality, he couldn’t bear to see her upset.

The Commandery Princess traveled from afar to this small town just to see Wen Muyan, how could the Prince not let her have her wish fulfilled? This was one of the reasons Gu Yan told the Prince about it.

The Prince learned about the Commandery Princess wanting to see Wen Muyan, but didn’t stop her, even pretending not to know. Could it be that the Prince isn’t strongly opposed to the Commandery Princess being with Wen Muyan?

"Husband, what did the Prince say after he found out?" To verify her suspicion, Su Yunjin asked Gu Yan about the Prince’s attitude.
