Wen Muyan agreed, and Su Yunjin also decided to go and share this good news with Madam Qin. Su Yunjin hadn’t ntioned this to Madam Qin before because she wasn’t sure if she would agree. Now that Su Yunjin was certain of the answer, she naturally had to tell Madam Qin.
Early in the morning, Su Yunjin took a carriage to the Qin Residence. Upon eting Madam Qin, Su Yunjin imdiately shared the news, "Madam Qin, I know a painter nad Wen Muyan, who ca from Jincheng. His painting skills are the best I’ve ever seen. If he cos to paint for Tangtang and her siblings, I’m sure you will be satisfied."
Su Yunjin appeared absolutely confident.
However, Madam Qin looked at her with complete surprise. Su Yunjin thought Madam Qin didn’t believe her and again earnestly assured Madam Qin, "Wen the painter’s skills are undoubtedly excellent. If you don’t believe , once you see his work, you’ll know I wasn’t lying." This ti, after Su Yunjin finished speaking, Madam Qin responded.
"No, no, no, Madam Gu, you’ve misunderstood . It’s not that I don’t believe you. I simply know that Wen Muyan is a painter residing in Jincheng. How could he possibly appear in this small town?" That was what astonished Madam Qin.
Su Yunjin smiled, "Madam Qin, indeed, Wen the painter was originally residing in Jincheng. However, not long ago, the Princess Rui specifically entrusted him to paint for Little Tiangua and her siblings, which is why he ca to this small town."
The Young Prince from Prince Rui Residence had been betrothed to Su Yunjin’s daughter. If Princess Rui sent Wen Muyan to this small town to paint for Su Yunjin’s daughter, it would not be surprising.
However, Wen Muyan’s temperant is peculiar, and he tends to be rather aloof. Generally, he doesn’t agree to paint for just anyone, which is why Madam Qin felt sowhat uncertain when she asked Su Yunjin, "Madam Gu, did Wen the painter really agree to paint for Tangtang and her siblings? From what I know, Wen the painter doesn’t easily agree to paint for people."
Expressing her doubts, Madam Qin heard Su Yunjin explain, "Madam Qin, to be honest, my husband happens to have a connection with Wen the painter. I was actually worried he might not agree, so I specifically asked my husband to help. Wen the painter doesn’t easily accept invitations from others, but he generally won’t refuse an invitation from a friend. My husband approached him, and on account of him, Wen the painter imdiately agreed."
Convinced that Wen the painter had indeed agreed to paint for Tangtang and her siblings, Madam Qin was sowhat delighted.
"Madam Gu, you and brother Gu have really gone to a lot of trouble for this," Madam Qin said gratefully. Recently, she had spent several days looking for a skilled painter. Although Lady Jiang and others recomnded a few, Madam Qin personally checked them out and found them unsatisfactory.
Now that Su Yunjin had recomnded the renowned Wen the painter, Madam Qin was more than pleased. She was genuinely grateful to Su Yunjin. Su Yunjin smiled.
"Madam Qin, aren’t we friends? This small matter isn’t sothing you need to dwell on." Su Yunjin was also very happy to be able to help a friend.
After leaving the Qin Residence, Su Yunjin didn’t take the carriage back but planned to return the Jade Pendant to Madam Lu. Initially, Su Yunjin intended for Aunt Bao to return the Jade Pendant to the Lu Residence, but Aunt Bao didn’t know the location of the Lu Residence. Since Su Yunjin was already going to the Qin Residence in town to inform Madam Qin that Wen the painter agreed to paint for Tangtang and her siblings, she decided to conveniently return the Jade Pendant herself.
Aunt Bao and the others stayed ho to take care of Little Tiangua and Little Yuanbao.
