Su Yunjin rattled off a string of questions, and Gu Ya stared at his little wife, pondering which question he should answer first.

But his little wife suddenly leaned in front of him, "And by the way, Princess Baolu didn’t take her eyes off you on the carriage. Do you think she has a thing for you?" Su Yunjin put her hands on her hips, looking like she was ready to confront him.

Gu Ya looked amusedly at his puffed-up little wife, "Yun, what is it? Are you jealous?" But Gu Ya was quite clear that Princess Baolu wasn’t interested in him.

Su Yunjin had long known that Princess Baolu didn’t like Gu Ya; she was just teasing him. Moving past the joke, Su Yunjin asked Gu Ya seriously, "Husband, who exactly is the man the Commandery Princess wants to et? Why do I have the impression that she’s really into that person? The way she looked, it’s obvious that she wants to see the man she likes." Su Yunjin guessed offhandedly.

"That’s right, the man indeed is soone the Commandery Princess likes," Gu Ya replied simply and cleanly.

Even though Su Yunjin had guessed seven or eight-tenths of it, hearing Gu Ya’s words still left her dumbfounded for a mont before she ca back to her senses.

"Husband, how could the person Princess Baolu likes be in this place? And how could soone in our village be the man Princess Baolu likes? Unless—?" Su Yunjin’s big dark eyes scanned Gu Ya up and down, teasing him again, "Husband, could it be that Princess Baolu really has her eyes on you? I don’t think there’s anyone in our village better-looking than you."

Su Yunjin teased Gu Ya.

Originally, Su Yunjin wanted to ss with Gu Ya and make him anxious.

But after hearing her words, Gu Ya looked at her with a bemused smile, "Yun, in your eyes am I just good-looking?" Gu Ya implied, making it impossible for Su Yunjin to play dumb. Her face turned red as she widened her big eyes and glared at Gu Ya fiercely.

Gu Ya shalessly leaned closer, his voice deeper and more seductive than usual, "Yun, don’t you think your husband’s physique is better-looking than his face?" Gu Ya’s words were so obvious.

Images popped into Su Yunjin’s mind, making her little face turn even redder.

"Shaless!" Su Yunjin spat at Gu Ya.

Gu Ya laughed heartily, seeing his little wife’s face turn red, feeling inexplicably good, and with Su Yunjin not as thick-skinned as Gu Ya, she didn’t continue the topic.

Su Yunjin’s thoughts returned to Princess Baolu, "Husband, quickly tell who the man Princess Baolu wants to et today is? Do you know him?"

"It’s strange, Princess Baolu is of noble status, from a prestigious family in Jincheng. The person she likes should be a noble son from Jincheng!" Su Yunjin mused to herself, supporting her head with her hand.

She really couldn’t understand why the person Princess Baolu liked would be in a small place like theirs.

The more Su Yunjin thought, the more curious she beca. Gu Ya didn’t answer but instead asked Su Yunjin a question, "Yun, do you rember the painter Wen who once ca to paint portraits for you and Little Tiangua?"

The painter Wen was so skilled, with quite a personality, so of course, Su Yunjin rembered him. But now they were discussing the person the Commandery Princess liked, so why did Gu Ya suddenly bring this up? "Husband, why are you asking this?" Su Yunjin didn’t think the person the Commandery Princess liked could be the painter Wen.
