“Qiuqiu, since it’s a gift from your younger sister, just accept it!” said Guo Qiulan’s mother, who had sohow joined the gathering unnoticed.
Su Yunjin and Su Ningxiu both looked over as Su Muze respectfully approached her, “Aunt, why didn’t you stay inside and sit down?”
“It was quite stuffy inside, so I ca out for a walk,” Mrs. Guo replied casually, then turned with a bright smile to Su Yunjin, “Madam Gu, when Qiuqiu marries into the Su Family, if she does anything wrong or doesn’t know sothing, I hope you and Madam Wang can guide her. At ho, my daughter is always clumsy. Please don’t find her too ignorant and hard to teach.”
Guo Qiulan blushed at her mother’s words and stomped her foot playfully, “Mother, how could you say such things about your own daughter? If you keep saying this, Sister Xiuxiu and Sister Yunjin will surely despise .”
Mrs. Guo chuckled, seeing her daughter’s embarrassnt and refrained from continuing. Su Muze tily remarked, “Aunt, don’t say that. I believe Qiuqiu is smart and can learn anything quickly.”
Guo Qiulan looked towards Su Muze, feeling a bit sweet inside, while Mrs. Guo now turned her gaze towards Su Yunjin and Su Ningxiu. She had clearly observed the gifts presented by the two sisters.
The sisters had given truly fine items! Those earrings were made of jade, clearly high-quality at a glance, and the gold hairpin and silver bracelets were equally excellent. Most people couldn’t present such gifts, let alone so many at once.

The Su Family was bustling with joy, but next door, the Tao family was fuming, their faces as black as coal. Now, Su Yunjin’s stepmother and several of her uncles no longer dared to provoke them, intimidated by the relationship between Prince Rui’s Residence and Su Yunjin. The Taos behaved very well. Seeing Su Yunjin’s family getting better and better, Mrs. Tao silently cursed Su Yunjin nurous tis. Hearing about an attempt to poison Su Yunjin, Mrs. Tao wished for her death.
Yet, against all odds, Su Yunjin survived. Not only was she poisoned, but she ca out unscathed.
