Chapter 1757: Chapter 1757: Bumped Forehead
Su Yunjin sat obediently while Gu Ya attended to her. Actually, Su Yunjin felt her forehead didn’t really need any ointnt; it was just a little red from the bump and would probably be fine in about half an hour. Applying ointnt wasn’t necessary at all. However, since Gu Ya was taking care of her and she didn’t need to do anything herself, Su Yunjin didn’t object and figured it didn’t hurt to apply so ointnt anyway.
Gu Ya’s movents were gentle, knowing that his little wife was afraid of pain. The aggrieved look on her face earlier made Gu Ya want to pull her into his arms and comfort her, so how could he risk hurting her again now?
Gu Ya’s large hand gently landed on Su Yunjin’s forehead, applying the cool ointnt. Soon, Su Yunjin felt the wound on her forehead wasn’t that painful anymore, but apart from the pain subsiding, Gu Ya’s presence was overwhelming. His entire being enveloped her, especially with his warm breath brushing against her face, causing her heart to involuntarily race.
Su Yunjin looked up, and Gu Ya’s slightly pursed lips ca into view. Su Yunjin wasn’t sure what got into her, but before she realized what she was doing, her head had already bumped into Gu Ya’s chin.
After the collision, Su Yunjin imdiately grimaced in pain and pushed Gu Ya away.
Gu Ya didn’t have ti to worry about the chin that had just been bumped by his little wife. He quickly checked on her with concern, “Co here, let see if you’re injured from the bump.” Su Yunjin was so dazed by the bump that she saw stars. Her forehead, which had the ointnt, wasn’t hurting anymore, but the collision had left her stunned.
Gu Ya looked at his little wife, who appeared bewildered and innocent.
He shook his head with a stifled laugh.
“You! Can’t you let your husband have a little peace of mind? You’re already a mother, yet you act so recklessly?” Sotis, his little wife was just like a child, which left Gu Ya feeling sowhat helpless.
Su Yunjin was a bit embarrassed and didn’t want to tell Gu Ya that it was his overwhelming presence that had caused her to bump into his chin. She got up hastily to escape, “Husband, I’ll go check on Little Tiangua.” But before she could escape, a large hand wrapped around her waist, pulling her back. Gu Ya locked her in his arms, making her sit properly on his lap.
Su Yunjin’s face turned red as she regretted her actions. Gu Ya’s handso face ca closer, the amusent in his eyes growing more evident, bright and dazzling like the night sky full of stars.
Su Yunjin felt montarily dazed.
The amusent in Gu Ya’s eyes deepened.
“Yunjin, are you feeling shy?” Gu Ya stared intently at the little woman in his arms, giving her no chance to avoid him. The more Gu Ya gazed at her, the more embarrassed Su Yunjin beca. Gu Ya’s voice rang out again, “Why did you try to run away just now?”
“I…?” Su Yunjin wouldn’t admit that she was embarrassed.
She was sure Gu Ya would tease her if she did.
Just as Su Yunjin was about to retort, Gu Ya burst into a low chuckle above her head, “Yunjin, you and I are husband and wife. I was just helping you apply so ointnt, that’s all. Don’t move now; let put so more ointnt on your forehead.”
“…” Su Yunjin was speechless.
But she had to admit that Gu Ya’s presence was too strong, sotis so overpowering that it couldn’t be ignored. It was this overwhelming presence that had led her to impulsively try to get up, only to unexpectedly bump her head.
