Xue Chu and Hong Wu launched a dual attack, their opponent with the spear quickly found himself at a disadvantage. Xue Chu gave Hong Wu a look, and the two struck simultaneously, targeting two vital points on the spear-wielder’s body. The man with the spear realized he couldn’t withstand their combined offensive, and wisely chose to use Qinggong to evade.
Despite his tall and sturdy build, the spear-wielder was surprisingly adept at Qinggong, successfully evading the lethal attacks from both Xue Chu and Hong Wu.
Having missed their target, Xue Chu and Hong Wu quickly launched a second attack. This ti, the spear-wielder flipped and blocked their strikes. During their confrontation, Xue Chu launched another attack, and once again, the spear-wielder used Qinggong. No matter how Xue Chu and Hong Wu attacked, the spear-wielder refused to engage, continuously evading with Qinggong.
The three of them chased each other around for a while until, unexpectedly, the spear-wielder suddenly produced a packet of powder from his sleeve and scattered it towards Xue Chu and Hong Wu. Although they managed to dodge in ti, so of the powder still landed on them. Xue Chu quickly felt weakened, and so did Hong Wu.
"Not good, it’s poison," Xue Chu said as he lost his strength, falling from the air. Hong Wu similarly fell, crashing down just after Xue Chu hit the ground.
The spear-wielder laughed as he looked at the fallen Xue Chu and Hong Wu. "Sorry, gentlen, but now I’m off to capture that woman nad Su," he mocked. Xue Chu glared at the spear-wielder, eyes blazing with anger, "Despicable, shaless, if you’ve got the guts, fight openly! What kind of hero uses poison?"
"Despicable? You two against just , isn’t that despicable?" the spear-wielder retorted impatiently. His main objective today was Su Yunjin, and he had no interest in wasting ti in combat. He dashed straight towards the Gu Family’s courtyard.
Xue Chu cursed his powerless body, while Hong Wu called loudly to their comrades, "Stop him, protect the lady, protect the lady! Hurry, so of you go protect her." Hearing Hong Wu’s shout, several people rushed to block the spear-wielder, but even with three or five of them, the spear-wielder’s skills surpassed theirs. "Milady, but..." Aunt Bao tried to protest, but Su Yunjin didn’t give her the chance, facing the spear-wielder directly, "What? Did Prince Chu send you?"
The spear-wielder did not answer Su Yunjin’s question and instead attacked her directly. "My Prince is still unconscious because he was trying to save you. Since you caused my Prince to be injured, I’m taking you back to take care of him."
