Wang ng froze for a mont.
"This... Xiuxiu, what’s going on here? How co you’re dressed like this?" Wang ng stared at Su Yunjin, his eyes filled with disbelief.
Not only Wang ng was like this, but Gu Jianghai was also stunned, "Sister-in-law, what’s with the clothes you’re wearing?" For a mont, everyone’s gaze was fixed on Su Yunjin’s outfit.
"Husband, Xiuxiu was abducted, later fell into the water, and she changed into these clothes after borrowing them from a farm girl." Su Ningxiu explained briefly.
Wang ng imdiately asked Su Yunjin seriously, "Xiuxiu, who abducted you? And how did you manage to escape on your own afterward?" Gu Jianghai was also very concerned about this matter.
But Su Yunjin was more worried about Gu Ya.

Gu Jianghai was in the sa situation. Wang ng and Gu Jianghai happened to et near Zuixiang Restaurant. After hearing Wang ng’s explanation, Su Yunjin understood.
So that’s what happened.
Gu Ya hadn’t been searching for her together with her brother-in-law and the others, so it was no surprise they had returned but Gu Ya hadn’t. Wang ng imdiately said, "Xiuxiu, don’t worry. I’ll go find your husband right now and tell him you’re safe."
Gu Jianghai added, "Third Sister-in-law, I’ll go too." Wang ng and Gu Jianghai left in a hurry to search for Gu Ya again, leaving Su Ningxiu to continue asking about the person who had abducted Su Yunjin.
Su Yunjin had no intention of telling her second sister about Leng Jingxian’s involvent, so she only gave so vague and random responses. Now that her brother-in-law had gone to look for Gu Ya, Su Yunjin planned to return ho first, take a hot bath, and change into her own clothes. Wearing soone else’s clothes never felt as good as wearing her own.
The borrowed clothes Su Yunjin was wearing were loose and baggy, making her look utterly unfit in them, almost as though she was draped in them.
"Second Sister, I’m planning to go ho and change clothes now. Do you want to co back with ?" Su Yunjin adjusted her ill-fitting dress uncomfortably and looked up at Su Ningxiu as she spoke.
Su Ningxiu nodded without hesitation, "Of course, I’m coming back with you." Her little sister had just been abducted—letting her return alone, Su Ningxiu couldn’t rest easy.
It was better to accompany her younger sister. Today, Gu Ya and Su Yunjin had co to town by carriage, and the carriage was waiting outside. Su Yunjin and Su Ningxiu called over the driver and climbed onto the carriage one after the other.
On the way, Su Ningxiu cursed the scoundrel who had abducted Su Yunjin relentlessly. Su Yunjin, seeing her second sister’s fierce protectiveness, felt both touched and amused.
"Enough, Second Sister. That scoundrel who abducted isn’t even in the carriage—you’re cursing her, but she can’t hear it. Stop cursing already; if you keep going, you’ll just make yourself thirsty, don’t you think?"
Having cursed all the way, Su Ningxiu did feel a bit thirsty. Luckily, there was water in the carriage, and she poured herself a cup of cold tea. After drinking, she resud her tirade.
Su Yunjin was helpless. Seeing her second sister regain her energy to curse anew, she realized she couldn’t stop her. Since persuasion was futile, she simply let Su Ningxiu continue her venting until the carriage ca to a halt amidst her cursing.
"We’re here!" Su Yunjin reached out to pull her second sister.
Su Ningxiu rose to her feet, and just as the sisters were about to get off the carriage, they heard Gu Ya’s voice.
"Yun-niang!"
