Little Yuanbao and Little Tiangua have just reached their full month. The two children are too young and definitely not suitable to be taken to the Lantern Festival. Tomorrow, Su Yunjin, although reluctant to leave Little Yuanbao and Little Tiangua at ho, feels it is safer and more prudent to keep the children at ho.
Since giving birth to the two children, Su Yunjin has never been separated from them for even one day. Now, going alone to the Lantern Festival tomorrow, Su Yunjin can’t help but feel reluctant to leave the children. She leaned down and gently pinched Little Yuanbao’s tiny hand and then squeezed Little Tiangua’s chubby cheek. Su Yunjin sighed, "Husband, it’s a pity we can’t take Little Yuanbao and Little Tiangua with us." If only they could bring the two little ones along to enjoy the Lantern Festival—it would make things even better.
Gu Ya walked over and planted a kiss on the back of Su Yunjin’s neck.
"Yunjin, I have already arranged for people to protect the two children tomorrow. Rest assured leaving them at ho!" Since he and his young wife are heading to the town tomorrow to see the lanterns, Gu Ya has prepared in advance, stationing five or six strong n around their quarters for security. In this way, there’s no need to worry about ill-intentioned individuals taking advantage of their absence to harm the children.
Su Yunjin reached out and hugged Gu Ya’s waist. "Husband, isn’t having the nursemaids and Aunt Bao enough? Did you actually arrange for others to look after Little Yuanbao and Tiangua too?" In Su Yunjin’s opinion, having a few nursemaids to care for the children was more than sufficient; there really was no need to involve others. Gu Ya explained, "Yunjin, I rely arranged a few n to stand guard outside, nothing more."
Su Yunjin blinked her eyes.
"Husband, you really think things through." Gu Ya’s careful consideration and attentiveness in looking after her and the children were evident. Indeed, the nursemaids alone were sufficient to care for the two children, but they were all won. If bad-hearted thieves ca, the children, the nursemaids, and Aunt Bao would all be vulnerable. Having a few strong n standing guard outside was the most thorough and safe plan.
Little Tiangua’s status is sowhat special—right after her birth, she was betrothed to Prince Rui Residence’s Young Prince. While many admired this, Little Tiangua’s identity as Crown Princess likely also sowed seeds of ill-will and resentnt in secret.
Even before Little Tiangua’s birth, there had been repeated attempts to harm Su Yunjin and cause her to lose the child. Now that Su Yunjin and Gu Ya will be heading to the Lantern Festival tomorrow, stationing a few hefty n to guard Little Tiangua and Little Yuanbao is utterly necessary.
Su Yunjin played with the two children for a while before Gu Ya ca over to take them away. "Yunjin, we’re going to the Lantern Festival tomorrow; get so early rest tonight. Let the nursemaids take the children and coax them to sleep." Before Su Yunjin could respond, Gu Ya had already lifted Little Tiangua, who was obediently lying beside her and chewing on her fingers.
"Husband, there’s no rush—it’s still early! Let play with them a little longer." Su Yunjin reached out to stop Gu Ya in an attempt to hold Little Tiangua again, but Gu Ya gave her no chance. He simply carried Little Tiangua away to find the nursemaids.
Poor Little Tiangua, just like that, her father whisked her away!
Unable to stop Gu Ya, Su Yunjin quickly scooped Little Yuanbao into her arms before Gu Ya returned. Little Tiangua had already been taken; she had to play with Little Yuanbao a little longer!
When Gu Ya ca back, he saw his young wife fiercely clinging to Little Yuanbao like a protective mother hen guarding her chicks, her face wary as she looked at him.
Gu Ya found it rather amusing.
What on earth was his little wife treating him like?
"Yunjin, give him to ." Gu Ya reached out to take Little Yuanbao.
