He tried to persuade Gu Yan.

“Prince, you’re truly underestimating , Gu Yan. Yunjin is my woman, the mother to our two children. No matter what, Gu Yan is not so despicable as to trade his woman for power and influence.” She was Gu Yan’s woman, and not just any offering from Prince Chu, even if he offered his princely position, Gu Yan would not spare a glance.
The expression on Prince Chu’s face stiffened montarily before returning to normal, “Master Gu, the conditions I’m offering are what countless people can only dream of; are you sure you won’t reconsider?”
Gu Yan laughed coldly again, replying sarcastically, “Prince, are there no other won in this world? Are you so fixed on coveting another man’s wife?”
A flicker of thin anger crossed Prince Chu’s face.
It quickly got suppressed.
“Master Gu, don’t be ungrateful!” Prince Chu’s gaze was filled with oppression as he stared at Gu Yan, voicing out his intimidation.
Gu Yan coldly threw a jade token in front of Prince Chu, “Prince, this jade token is from Yunjin, for to return it to you. The item is returned, I trust the Prince will carry himself with more dignity from now on.”

Little Tiangua was sick. Su Yunjin, worried that Little Tiangua would pass the sickness on to Little Yuanbao, dared not let the two children sleep together. Usually, Su Yunjin would have the children sleep by her side during the day, and then handed them over to Auntie Bao and the wet nurses to take care of at night.

The scene Gu Yan ca back to was his wife holding Little Tiangua while lying down, her hand gently patting Little Tiangua’s back, oblivious to the blanket that had slipped off from her own body.
Gu Yan shook his head, approached, and pulled the blanket back up over his wife.
“Yunjin, how can you not take care of yourself? What if you fall ill?” Gu Yan’s scolding carried hints of concern. Su Yunjin turned to look at him, “Husband, you’re back?”
Gu Yan nodded.
Seeing only Little Tiangua on the bed provoked a glimr of confusion in Gu Yan’s eyes, “Yunjin, why is only Little Tiangua here? Where is Little Yuanbao?” In the past, his wife always kept the two children together.
That only Little Tiangua was present like today was a first.
Rather than answering, Su Yunjin asked back, “Husband, right, where did you go today?”
