It wasn’t long before the Su Family and Gu Family people hurried over. Entrusted by Gu Ya, Wang ng t Gu Chengxiang and Su Zhongshi’s family outside, "Uncle, Auntie, my little sister has just delivered and needs rest. My brother-in-law is in the room with her right now, it’s best not to disturb them. Let the two of them have a good rest."

Wang ng briefly described Su Yunjin’s childbirth from the previous night and ntioned her fainting afterwards.

Mrs. An and Mrs. Shen, having been through childbirth themselves, understood that Su Yunjin truly needed to rest properly after giving birth. Hence, they repeatedly nodded in agreent, "Since Yunjin needs to rest now, we shouldn’t disturb her. It’s good that she has her husband with her." Mrs. An and Mrs. Shen both brought nourishing gifts and presents for the children.

Outside, Aunt Liang and the others quickly ca forward to receive the gifts. Mrs. An, anxious about the children, asked, "How about the child? Is it a boy or a girl?" Although Mrs. An had co to terms with it and no longer insisted that Su Yunjin have a daughter, deep down, she still hoped that Su Yunjin would give birth to a girl who could beco the future Princely Heir’s Consort of the Prince Rui Residence. Mrs. An was visibly nervous, her heart hung high with anticipation.

At that mont, Su Ningxiu had just finished seeing the children and ca out.

"Mother, Auntie, my little sister has given birth to twin boys, they are so adorable. You should co and see them," said Su Ningxiu, her face brimming with joy. The re ntion of the children filled Su Ningxiu with irrepressible happiness.

Her little sister was truly incredible to have given birth to two at once. Initially, Su Ningxiu felt a slight regret that her little sister hadn’t had a daughter, but as soon as she saw the two tenderly adorable infants, only excitent and joy remained.

"Xiuxiu, you said your sister gave birth to two sons?" Upon hearing that her own daughter had borne two sons, Mrs. Shen was imdiately filled with joy as well. This was wonderful news! Having twin sons, her daughter would now have a good support in the future.

Mrs. An was also happy, but like Su Ningxiu, there was a small trace of regret and loss in her heart. Nonetheless, it was a joyful occasion that the Gu Family had new additions, and soon, Mrs. An cheerfully joined everyone to see the children.

Inside the room, the two children lay together, peacefully asleep. The bigger one constantly chewed his fingers, even appearing joyful in his sleep while doing so. The smaller one was more well-behaved, not sucking on fingers, occasionally blowing bubbles from his mouth, endearing to all who watched.

Mrs. An looked back and forth between them, finding both children extrely beautiful - she couldn’t get enough of them. Su Ningxiu scrutinized the two children for a long while, then pointed to the one on the right and said, "Mother, Auntie, look how much he resembles my brother-in-law. He is practically carved from the sa mold."

Mrs. Shen pointed at the other child and smiled.

"Xiuxiu, look at the one on the left, he looks exactly like your little sister." Both children, one resembling the father and the other the mother, were exquisitely beautiful. Mrs. An had several grandchildren, but none of the previous grandsons and granddaughters were as beautiful as the two little grandsons before her eyes.

Mrs. An couldn’t stop admiring the two children, utterly chard by them.

······

It was unknown how much ti had passed.

When Su Yunjin awoke, the sky outside had darkened, and a single oil lamp was lit in the room. Stirring a little, she felt sothing pressing on her hand. Looking down, Su Yunjin saw that Gu Ya had fallen asleep beside her hand.

"Husband!" Su Yunjin called out, her voice hoarse.

Gu Ya, upon hearing the voice, sat up with a surprised and delighted expression, "Yunjin, you’re awake?"
