Wang ng had been married to Su Ningxiu for so long.
He had never seen his little wife so aggrieved.
Seeing his little wife’s face turn pale with anger from Su Muze monts ago, Wang ng’s fury surged rapidly and he couldn’t restrain himself. If it weren’t for the fact that Su Muze was his little wife’s elder brother, Wang ng would have already punched Su Muze by now. His clenched fists and tense face revealed the anger that was about to erupt.
Su Muze turned his head back, fully aware that his brother-in-law held exceptional affection for his sister, Su Ningxiu, and focused his gaze on Wang ng’s clenched fist.
Su Muze let out a cold laugh,
His face full of disdain.
“What, brother-in-law, you want to hit ?” Su Muze’s face was provocative, clearly not taking Wang ng seriously, which only fueled Wang ng’s rage.
Suddenly, Wang ng threw a punch.
Wang ng didn’t hold back, his fist smashing into Su Muze’s face, imdiately causing blood to stain Su Muze’s mouth corner. Perhaps not expecting Wang ng to actually strike, not only did Su Ningxiu freeze, but Su Muze was also stunned. One punch was not enough, Wang ng swung his fist for a second.
But before his punch could land, Su Ningxiu stopped him, “Husband, please don’t, don’t hit my brother.” Despite Su Muze’s outrageous behavior, Su Ningxiu and Su Muze had been siblings for more than a decade; such feelings weren’t easily changed, were they?
Su Ningxiu held onto Wang ng, her face showing she couldn’t bear it. Unable to watch his little wife distressed, Wang ng suppressed his anger and retracted his punch.
Su Muze, who had been punched, wiped his bloody mouth corner hatefully, not looking at Wang ng and Su Ningxiu again as he ran straight off the dock.
Su Ningxiu went after him, but this ti Wang ng didn’t indulge his little wife and pulled her back, as Su Ningxiu faced him anxiously.
“Husband, my brother has run off, let go, I need to chase after him,” Su Ningxiu pleaded to go after Su Muze; his disappearance worried their father and mother.
Su Ningxiu had promised Su Zhongshi and Mrs. Shen to bring Su Muze back. Having just found her elder brother Su Muze, Su Ningxiu naturally didn’t want him to get away.
Wang ng still clutched his little wife’s wrist. He, who had never spoken harshly to her, now shouted at her to make her sober up,
“Xiuxiu, enough already! Your brother is bewitched now; what good would chasing him do? Do you think he’ll listen to you? Will he co back with you?”
Su Ningxiu, who had just been set on chasing after Su Muze, froze upon hearing Wang ng’s words, staring at Wang ng speechless, knowing that at this point, whatever she said, her elder brother Su Muze wouldn’t take it to heart.
Looking towards the direction Su Muze had left, his figure had already vanished. Su Ningxiu sighed and turned back to Wang ng.
“Forget it! Husband, I’ll listen to you. Let’s go see my younger sister and brother-in-law first!” The younger sister and brother-in-law were full of ideas; probably only they could solve this problem.
Su Yunjin and Gu Ya were having tea at the teahouse, and to easily spot their returning elder sister and brother-in-law, they had specifically chosen a seat by the window.
