Daohua frowned slightly, “Indeed, it has been a while, county mistress. Is there sothing you need?”
Jiang Wanying laughed, “No, I just wanted to have a little chat with you. Why, are you unwilling?”
Looking at Jiang Wanying’s expression that suggested speaking with her was a favor, Daohua felt utterly repulsed and said directly, “I am indeed quite unwilling. If the county mistress has no matters to attend to, then I shall take my leave.”

Jiang Wanying’s face darkened, her rage nearly bursting forth, but then she seed to rember sothing and sneered at Daohua, “I do hope Miss Yan maintains this courage and pride.”
“Your father’s loss of military grain is a grave offense. If the military opportunity at the Northern Frontier is delayed because of this, even having your family’s property confiscated and being exiled would not be enough to atone for it. I shall see just how long you can keep up your pride.”
Daohua narrowed her eyes, “Are you done, county mistress? If so, I shall be going.” With that, she signaled the coachman to move the carriage.
Watching the Yan Family carriage speed away, Jiang Wanying huffed heavily.
She rembered how during the last purge of provincial officials, she saw Brother Yang so carefully and intimately protecting Yan Yiyi on the street, and she could not help but feel her anger erupting.
